[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have any speakers to compare it to, but my first impression was that it's super simple to set up. You plug it in to charge it and there's an app for it. I downloaded the app and had to update the software, which went smoothly. It connected through Bluetooth with no issues. Then I tested the volume, inside my house, and the volume blew my mind!! I kept thinking it was at its max level but it still kept going! I could FEEL the bass! The app is simple to use, very to-the-point with different light and sound options. I didn't even think about using it for karaoke until I saw that karaoke was a setting to use with a mic. In my video I didn't show that there's a pocket to put things in, which is convenient. The only thing I think would have made it even better is a cup holder. For a party speaker, I figured there would be one. Overall, it is definitely worth the price to me!

It is super powerful and has a booming bass option. I use it for my business and for entertainment. We are full time business travelers and adventures. The LG Boom blue tooth speaker provides us a big sound at a little price. It comes with strobes, colorful lights and the app to make the messages really an awesome option.

You have to hear the sound produced from the XBoom XL7S. It's amazing. Music takes you to another level. Doesn't weight a lot. Can be transported from Party to Party easily. Music fills a large hall without speaker vibrating. LEDS are heavenly designed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by metalmancpa1 from A solid performer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several bluetooth speakers including two of the LG XG9's which I think sound excellent. My daughter got the XL7S tower, and I took a look at it. It's not light coming in at 35lbs, but with the handle and wheels it is easy to move around. The battery is rated up to 20 hours of playtime which I would assume would be at lower volume. You can charge your phone with the speaker while streaming from it. As with LG XBoom's, they are easily paired with the app to tweak settings. The controls are also on the top of the speaker for adjusting the sound to your liking. I played some of my favorite genre of music, heavy metal, to check it out. As expected, the sound was solid. Decent volume, and was able to get the EQ in a U-Shape that I like the most. The highs weren't purely crisp, but nonetheless they sounded good combined with the bass output of the speaker. One thing that really didn't interest me, but it's cute for a party, are the emoji's that can be displayed on the speaker. It is a cool party touch. Overall the speaker puts out s nice light show for those who want it. I would recommend this speaker. Nice on the patio for a party or just for hanging out and wanting decent sound.

The sound is amazing, our kids love the dance party display and the battery life is outstanding! We brought it camping with us and campers all around us stopped to ask us about it and were super impressed that we had it on for the majority of the day for 2 days without charging it! The app is also great. It is very user friendly and the DJ feature is pretty sweet. If you are looking for a great quality Bluetooth speaker for backyard barbecues or every dance parties with your kids this one is amazing!

I've never had a portable speaker this large and it's one of those "didn't know you need it until you have it" purchases. I got it for hangouts by the pool but now I use it anytime I want to play music out loud because it's such a great quality sounding speaker. I also love getting a quick charge off it with my phone plugged into the USB port. And the battery lasts a really long time too. You'll rarely need to charge it. My only critique is that the LEDs are super visible outside but it doesn't change my rating of it since it's not super important to me.

I've brought it to the beach (though probably not recommended to do that); while hanging out by the pool; inside during a small party and just while sitting around outside relaxing. The sound can get super loud if needed and is good quality at all sound levels. It lasts a ridiculously long time and is easy to move around with it's luggage style handle and wheels. I highly recommend this speaker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this LG XL7S XBOOM Portable Party Speaker with Bluetooth at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. To say this speaker has blown my mind would be an understatement. I absolutely love the design of this speaker and that you can literally “roll” it around like a bag of luggage— it makes it so easily transportable and that’s phenomenal! The speaker was so easy to set up, it took me a matter of seconds and that was it. I was able to set it up via my bluetooth and via the app— both ways took mere seconds. I also am blown away how you can customize the message that displays, how it displays, the color, emoji’s, it’s incredible! Last but certainly not least, the sound on this portable speaker is absolutely amazing, it doesn’t get much better than this! And as you can see by the pictures, Spongey is also a huge fan- he was just sitting on top of it! He loves jammin’ to tunes with his momma :).

I figured this speaker would be good, but I didn't expect it to be as good as it has been. I was grilling on the front porch and figured why not, let me.bring the speaker out. I was pleasantly surprised! The bass was amazing!! The sound was so good I got lost in the time and ended up outside all day. As a result I made a game of it and had karaoke night with my kids. They were in love and ounce again the sound was super clear! I was even able to put names and pictures on the front of the speaker to add to the fun.

I love how it is Portable you can literally take it anywhere, it's on wheels so it makes it easy to move around. It has Bluetooth capabilites so it's very easy to sync to Any device. My kids especially love the Pixel Led Lighting it has and how you can change it. It has a very powerful subwoofer in it alot more powerful then I thought! It is water resistant so you can play it by the pool and not have to worry about it getting ruined. It has up to 20 hours of charge time but I have went well over 20 hours and it's still charged so deffinently has more then that. It has an option for Soundboost! It came well packaged. I definitely recommend this speaker to anyone in the Market you definitely get your moneys worth with this speaker! I received this product at a discount for my honest opinion.

While not the lightest of portables it is still easy to bring to any party or event with a built in collapsible handle and two tough wheels that have no trouble rolling over most surfaces. The sound is excellent and with the included sound boost function you can really add great sound to a large area. Also with the app downloaded to your phone there is so much control over the sound type, mixing DJ, playlists and so much more. Overall astherics are pleasing and the included customizable lights on the front are fun and add some great visuals. The only thing they could improve on is the Bluetooth range as it seems it is impeded by walls too easily as well as a short range. Overall I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by fgonnello from Big and Loud, But Pricey [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG XBoom XL7S is a big loud speaker with a nice pair of roller wheels and a grab handle, and it connects well to 3.5mm and Bluetooth audio sources. The lighting makes for really fun party vibes, but the sound (for its size and its price) leaves a little something to be desired in terms of crystal clear highs and chest-felt bass. At loudest volumes, the thing proves its value as an outdoor party speaker capable of blasting your whole yard with sonic joy. But try and use it indoors for any ordinary daily listening and you may be disappointed with its performance at the lower volume. For a speaker system of this size, it's really a missed opportunity for the speaker to be outshined by a more portable LG speaker in quieter settings. You do get some impressive tech in terms of easy bluetooth connectivity, customization and visual aesthetic options, sound customization and EQ, and really impressive battery life. Overall, if you're an entertainer (or just like to throw parties in big open spaces), this would be a very worthwhile investment. If you're an audio purist, consider biting the bullet with something at the next tier price point a few hundred dollars more.
