Satisfying, Time-saving Machine. Great for parents
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to keep reminding myself to not rinse dishes. This machine can basically handle any amount of grime that is built up on a dish, even if it's been left in the sink over a day. We've been using the 3rd rack for things like baby pacifiers and bottle nipples. We've been able to switch to reusable sandwich bags used on the second shelf. It's hard to give an honest review because we went from having no dishwasher for 4 years to this, but wow, it's been a huge improvement to quality of life. I highly recommend using rinse aid, even if you plan on using the heated dry cycle. Adding rinse aid has made dishes come out pretty much bone dry. Another recommendation for anyone else new to dishwasher, use powder detergent and sprinkle some in the "pre-rinse" rectangle above the detergent tray. You'll save money using powder and it works better.

I did some on line research as well as shopping in a locally owned appliance store. Maytag came out on top. There are only two of us but it still is a joy not to have to wash dishes. This model does not need the dishes to be rinsed. Stake and turn on. We have an open concept kitchen/dining/living room. I can't hear it. Neither can my husband. It cleans perfectly.

High quality, quiet, dishes super clean!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this model about a month ago. Love the design of the 3rd upper rack - great for coffee mugs or a ladle. LOVE how clean the dishes are when we unload. LOVE how quiet it is -- can barely tell it's running. LOVE the indicator that lights up the word "clean" when it's done -- no interpretation of light colors necessary. We enjoy the sleek clean look of the front, all the controls are hidden on top yet easy to see when you want them. The handle style does not allow hanging dishtowels on it, which can be a plus or minus depending on your preference -- it goes with the clean sleek look to not hang towels, so it's good for us. The door hinge is stiffer than our previous model -- with our previous outer handle model, we used to grab the handle and "fling" it open without bending over and it would open fully and stay open (probably not the greatest for the machine, but convenient for the person). Now the door only opens as much as we pull it, so we need to fully bend over and push it down before we can pull the racks out to load/unload. Not a problem for us, but something to know in case that's a concern. Overall it's a powerful, yet quiet, workhorse and we're very happy with it. The Maytag brand is known for being long-lasting and never having breakdowns/problems, so that's what really drove us toward this model/brand. Our previous GE machine lasted seven years -- we're hoping this one lasts longer.

Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely very quiet, yes the leveling 'feet' are plastic not metal but, they adjust more quickly (less turns required) and they slide on the flooring more smoothly (no scratches or tearing). Very easy to install. I found the video by Maytag (accessable by QR code in the accompanying manual) very helpful. They're not kidding about it being quiet and dishes come out super clean!! Recommend for sure!

The space under my counter is shorter than most homes. I also bought the extra water installation package. High quality
