[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model after two different repairmen told me that almost all washing machines on the market today are “crap”. Both recommended this model for durability and performance. Both said anything with a computer screen will break in about 3-5 years. That the machines without the agitators don’t clean well. Love this machine! It doesn’t take FOREVER to get through a cycle with all the “sensing” delays. Best performing of all the washers I’ve had with 4 boys in the house (I go through washers every 3-5 years, because the repairmen are correct most washers are “crap”) It cost more than other brands but was worth it.

Great choice in clothes washers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been up and running for just over a week of normal duty plus a week's worth of catching up. Wash cycles are dramatically shorter duration than my previous front loader and the clothes are cleaner too. Machine is quiet and spins out equivalent to front loader, so my drying cycles are consistent.
Controls are straight forward, and it has all the settings one would ever need. The machine itself seems well constructed. I did find the drain hose too short for my application (port is in lower RH corner). I purchased a 1" hose kit with coupler to extend and all is well. I'm very pleased with my choice thus far.

I ordered the simplest Maytag to minimize the chance of computer breakdown. I bought a 5 year warranty because I am a skeptic by nature. So far the machine has served me well. The settings are convenient. It gets the clothes clean. The delicate cycle has encouraged me to wash cashmere sweaters instead of giving them to the dry cleaners. The washer is quiet and efficient. I am really loving it.

Love my new Maytag Commercial Top Loader!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the commercial Maytag washer after owning a different brand front loader. My new Maytag washer is wonderful! I opted for a model without the high tech bells/whistles, just more things to go wrong. After using the new washer, I immediately notice my white towels were so much cleaner, I showed my husband the comparison with other towels in the linen closet and he agreed. This machine also washes more clothes (able to adjust water level) and in a shorter time too! Best decision to switch front loader to top loader.
