Things have changed in 25 years
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so far, I'm adjusting to this new front loader washer. My previous washer was a Neptune which lasted 25 years. It was a crazy machine, it danced all over and jiggled and made unique noises as it spun. This machine is so quiet I worry. The main draw back is the top of the machine is level, no edging. In my laundry room that means socks and small things are sliding off. It's natural to put a load of laundry on top to sort or pre wash items. Not sure what to do yet. Mechanically all is well and things get thoroughly washed.

We love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer about 2 weeks ago. It has been amazing compared to our old washer! I don't have to unplug and plug back in to get it to go. The clothes seem cleaner with less soap and less water. A load takes longer to wash but I can get way more clothes in it in a single load. We couldn't be happier with this washer!

Really cleans
Bought this about 2 months ago. Have been putting it through its paces. Spin speeds are great, I have to lower it for my linen clothing. The balancing of the spin is impressive. I put a twin poly comforter in that we use for the outside cats. They roll in the dirt...it came totally clean. The spin started out really rough, my last machine would've required an adjustment. This one smoothed out as quiet as any other time. It is a beast. I do miss the interior light.

Reflections on My Washer

The tray that I use to add detergent, bleach, or fabric softener collects a fair amount of water. After I am done with a week's laundry, I completely remove and disassemble it so it can dry out.
I wish the buzzer was a bit louder for communicating the end of cycle.

Seems like it was the same features as the 7100 DC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 10 years ago, I bought the Maytag 7100 DC model and I had to replace it. seeing how they had a model that would fit the pedestal that I bought with the first Maytag was great. Not only is it a Maytag which stands behind their name the washer seems to be as good as the first one. Very little trouble. I always stick with what I know, and have not been disappointed with Maytag.
