Thought it was loud at first but I believe I was listening more closely to make sure everything was working well. Now I only seem to notice any sound when the washer is done.

Great value with relatively low expense
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a month, very happy with this machine. The controls are easy to use and the washing process seems to proceed as the machine indicates (extra rinse is noted when asked for). The tub is not huge but big enough for me, and the central agitator tangles my close much less than my previous pulsing-floor model did. Consumer Reports says this machine does not clean very well, but I find it perfectly fine for my clothes, which are lightly soiled (I don't wash heavy work clothes). And that means, I believe, that the machine is gentler on clothes, which is important to me -- I have a lot of older things which I simply can't replace, so want them to survive as long as possible.

Why does the machine sound like it’s barely agitating? Seems like very little movement when it’s on the wash portion of the cycle.
I think maybe you should call a tech, I do hear my machine agitating..you should hear some motion of the clothes moving around.
