Love Maytag!

I left the second washer and the dryer in my house when we sold our home and retired to another state. In the folllowing 10 years I owned different brand of washer and dryer that did not last long at all. I decided to return to the old faithful brand I used prior to retirement- Maytag. So far I am satisfied with my washer and dryer and hope to get many years of service out of them.

One issue: if you live in an apartment or your laundry area is is the main area, the machine is very loud.

I had delayed as long as I could replacing my old machine because I was afraid that the cycle times would take as long as the new dishwashers do and didn’t want it to take up my entire day by the time I completed my whites, delicates and color washes . This machine does a nice job of cleaning and rinsing in a reasonable amount of time and rings them out well enough so the drying time decreases.

Why does the machine sound like it’s barely agitating? Seems like very little movement when it’s on the wash portion of the cycle.
I think maybe you should call a tech, I do hear my machine agitating..you should hear some motion of the clothes moving around.
