Thank goodness Maytag came to the rescue. Lighted freezer, well appointed glass shelving, excellent interior shelf space, wonderful storage drawers (the large meat/cheese/etc drawer is my favorite),great lighted freezer space, exterior dimensions that fit in my 1950's kitchen alcove, no fingerprint stainless finish, reliable brand, 10 year warranty posted right on the fridge door! What's not to like! Thank you Maytag!!!!

My Maytag is as convenient as my old refrigerator,,,,except a lot quieter. Love that it has a freezer light not just a refrigerator light. Glass shelving and full width meat drawer. Everything about it is clean ,quiet and convenient. The only brand I could find that had a 10 year ltd. warranty on the main compressor. Also love the fingerprint resistant stainless steel. This refrigerator classes up my mid century modern Kitchen!!

The only issues that we have experienced is, damage to the refrigerator door when we unpacked it.
The damage appeared to have been caused during manufacturing.
I am a little disappointed that quality assurance did not catch this issue prior to shipping.

In the instruction booklet it says that you need to let the refrigerator cool for 24 hours before adding food? Is this really necessary??
