Love the new gas range!

I haven't used one in 40 years, but WOW how they have changed. The air fry is a wonderful addition. I used the convection and it's a dream. I haven't used the regular bake yet. The stove top worked great. The oven is beautiful. I had a glass top, so this oven will not be as easy to keep clean, that is a concern, but I'm sure I will be extra careful not to soil it. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. C-M Appliance Center are great people to work with.

Excellent Maytag Gas Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new gas range for less than a month, but it has performed excellently so far.
I have tried the bake, broil and air fry features of the oven, and have used all the burners on top. I particularly like that this unit has a nice, big oven that will accommodate large sheet pans easily. I am also very impressed that the oven preheats so quickly. On top, my favorite features are the power burner and the simmer burner. It is very nice to have both. A pot of water or stock boils very quickly, and the simmer feature is wonderfully low for melting chocolate or steaming cream.
Additionally, I want to add that the light inside the oven is great. It is very bright when the door is open, and bright enough to see the contents of the oven clearly when the door is closed. I also like the hidden bake element. It gives the interior of the oven a streamlined look, and I know the floor of the oven will be easier to clean when I have to clean it in the future.
I am very pleased with this Maytag unit.

The only thing that i don't lie if that their is no lock feature on the rouchscreen. It would be nice to have that feature so you aren't turning things in when trying to clean it.

As far as cooking/baking… This range ignites and heats very quickly, which is fantastic! The stove has different-sized burners and the large burners actually work well with my large pots/pans. The grates are heavy-duty. Each burner has different BTUs for different cooking needs. The cooktop is a solid piece, with a good coating, and easy to wipe clean. The 2 large burners on the front are bigger than most of my regular cooking pans. I can move my pots and pans anywhere on my cooking top. I really like the knobs for gas flow, they are smooth and easy to adjust. The 5.8 oven space is very large and will be plenty of space for the holidays. The matching look with the other appliances in my kitchen is quite nice.
The oven is roomy and comes with three shelves. I’ve baked four times using the convection setting and it baked perfectly. A nice feature is that the oven will auto-adjust the temperature when you use the convection oven. It’s very convenient. Haven’t had it long enough to try out the oven’s cleaning feature, yet. Large oven, Convection Oven, and regular oven features now bring oven temperature to the temperature I selected. I love the Convection oven Auto Convect Conversion and use it all the time! LOVE the power burner-cooks quickly. Been so busy enjoying my NEW range.
This model Maytag had all the features we were looking for and then some. The fact the bottom drawer can be used for storage while others have the broiler was a main feature while the true convection oven was an added bonus.
This range is the main focus point in my kitchen. The stainless is “fingerprint-less”, so no smudges to keep wiping down.
Overall, gas is over electric, any day. And I have no regrets about this one!

The stainless finish somehow gives me a pretty good feel by just looking at it. I love that it comes with all the features that I wanted. I can air fry/bake with big room (finally got to use my big baking pans which’s too big for my counter one!)…The oven does the job pretty well even though it works a little different than my counter one (temperature varies somehow). So far I’m pretty happy with the stove and I’m sure it will last for many years!

It has a ton of great features like the power preheat, which is one of my favorites since I hate waiting long for an oven to preheat! Another nice feature is the air fryer basket which allows me to have more counter space by no longer needing a solo air fryer! The grates are easily removable for easy access cleaning. Exactly What I Needed

It’s not perfect but it’s close. This oven is jam packed with awesome features that would normally just take up space on my counter. The air fryer built in isn’t perfect and I’ve noticed that I need to set the temperature higher than normal but still just having an air fryer is amazingly convenient. The best feature I love is the power preheat, which gets the oven to the desired temp so fast!

One of the best gas stoves i have had

I have never had the Maytag brand before in any of their products but as a first time user of the gas range stove, i am so happy. My husband likes the do it yourself projects so the install was all on him. He did an amazing job and said that it was very easy to install. The gas came on effortlessly on all of the stove burners. It is absolutely beautiful inside the oven itself for the air-fry. The air-fry does wonders for me since i love making air-fry recipes. This is by far the best appliance i have had in my house. It works great. Highly recommend.

Good appliance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maytag’s replaced this model with a new one. The right front burner on the old appliance would light intermittently. The new one performs better however if you buy this model you will need to go past the ignite marking until you hear the gas coming on and return back to the ignite mark in order to light the burner. Be careful not to go too far from the ignite mark because you could get a small explosion.

Aesthetically pleasing to look at!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the range (haven't used the oven yet, as it was installed less than two weeks ago, and I usually cook via stovetop).
I wish the burners weren't fixed. Maytag put both large burners in front (including the simmer burner on the front left), which is a huge oversight at best. The back left burner is the smallest in size and the back right burner is medium-sized.
If I could rearrange them, the large burner with simmering capacity would be in the back left and the smallest burner would be in front of it.
Also, the middle burner does not cook evenly at all. You have to crowd items into the middle to get them to cook evenly.

Good solid stove with nice warranty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this stove for one week and mostly like it. What I do not like is the one piece grate that covers both burners. They are very heavy to lift off to clean. Individual grates would be better. I do not like the electronic panel placement. It splatters with grease when cooking and all the buttons go off when you try to clean it. I also do not like that all the burners spark when you turn on just one.

New Stove!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our Maytag oven a few weeks ago. We had a Kitchen Aid for the last 25 years. The technology is better today, but not all that different. I must say though, I was a little hesitant in purchasing a Maytag, just because... However, we are delighted with the purchase. The stove performs very well. Oven preheats quickly and the temperature is right on (a plus on that!) and the oven (so far) seems to heat & cook evenly. The broiler actually works too! Threw four English Muffins with some butter and Parmesan sprinkled on them and they browned very evenly(!) Kept an eye on them, but they were wonderfully even. The "power burner" is just that - 18,000 BTU's! It takes a little getting used to at first. But we like it. Too soon to tell about the self cleaning function. Love the sealed burners and enameled surface. Same feature as our Kitchen Aid - nice. I am a little concerned about the markings around the knobs. Let's hope they wear better than my fears... I like the front control panel for two reasons; We don't have to reach over the hot (and flaming) burners to operate the oven controls and, my wife had difficulty seeing the control panel at the back of the stove (this has a closer front control panel and better contrast). Okay, three reasons... The Kitchen Aid back panel was chrome painted plastic which was ruined by the house keepers using a scrubby on it.
Oh, and I gave this review four stars since we haven't had it for long. But so far we like it very much!

There’s an air fryer!!!

My only critique of this oven is that there were no instructions included to walk through how the air fryer worked. I couldn’t even find videos online that gave instructions on how to use it.
