The LED lighting is great and you're able to see everything in the refrigerator side well. The freezer light is easy to block but, the ease of organizing makes up for this minor deficiency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fridge for about 2 months. It's excellent. It fit perfectly in the spot. It has a lot more room than it appears (note that I'm one person so you might need more space for a family!). The door can get heavy when it's loaded up, but I don't think that's an issue once you are aware. I like that the water dispenser is configured in a way that you can fill water bottles and larger containers. I researched for about 2 months before choosing the Maytag. My repair person for my old fridge said he never gets calls for Maytag or Whirlpool -so I went with that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a bottom freezer with two doors for the refrigerator GE. My old GE was a few inches larger and actually held less. The motor/fan on the maytag is very quiet which is nice because I have an open layout living room/kitchen. Even the ice machine is not loud. The filtered water comes out much faster than my GE. I love the specific drawer in the freezer for ice cream which allows you to pull out ice cream and eat it without being too soft or rock hard.

Whether or not I was going to like my new stainless steel fingerprint resistant Maytag was still hanging in the balance. I cannot stress enough how great this looks with my almond tile and oak cabinets. Not to mention that it works great!!! Every day, I think how glad I am to have made this choice.

More room and lighting.

The ice maker/dispenser was broken and it was 5 Cubic feet smaller. This Maytag refrigerator has the ice dispenser in the door freeing up more space in the fresh food section. It also has more light behind the shelves.
