Maytag Pet Pro- Money Well Spent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW!! The Pet Pro Washer and Dryer really work!!! I have 4 dogs and in the past there was always dog hair on something coming out of the washer and dryer. But not anymore!! Dog hair has met it's match - My Pet Pro washer and dryer does exactly what if promises. I am so happy, no more lint/hair removers for my laundry- Maytag Pet Pro has won me over. Thank you Maytag for the best washer and dryer I've ever owned. I'm a Maytag customer for life!!

Love My Pet Pro Maytag!

It looks good, has lots of washing options, and is relatively quite. I love the agitator and it's amazes me how much debris the Pet Pro filter catches. I also love that the black color of the machine isn't smooth and shiny because it always looks nice without fingermarks.

Handles pet hair very well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely a change from our old front loader. With multiple large dogs, we wash a lot of bedding. The old front loader would wind up with a bunch of hair stuck in the door gasket and you had to clean it out. The new washer collects all this in the agitator strainer for easy clean up. Very happy with how it is working so far

There’s something very calming about watching the wash cycle. Sometimes it’s even better than watching TV! And so quiet, too.

Thank goodness for agitators
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This agitator washer is wonderful. Quick backstory. I purchased a stackable washer and dryer 5 years ago. The washer developed a strange habit of occasionally not lighting up when the power button was pressed. I would have to unplug it for several minutes, plug it back in and then it would work. Pain in the a$$. It didn't do a good job of cleaning. Towels didn't smell fresh. Work clothes sometimes had to be washed twice. So we decided to replace both units with new Maytags. Best decision. The washer is very large capacity. It is quiet. And the slate color is attractive. And you can't beat an agitator. The laundry is so clean now. So glad we made the change.

Great appliance

I love that it agitates like the older washer because I think it cleans the clothes better and we live on a ranch. I like the free flowing water feature to clean spots or rinse out detergent caps.

My one and only complaint is that I can't get the machine to dispense fabric softener, the "Fabric Softener" light refuses to come on even after many attempts to press and hold for 3 seconds! Is my only solution to get a Downy ball?

It's easy to use, get's my clothes clean, the dog pro works great and the filter is very easy to clean.
No Smart options and I couldn't be happier with this machine doing what it's supposed to- clean clothes!
In addition to my regular laundry of tops, jeans, or socks, I did wash 2 different blankets and they came out beautifully. There is an option for low water use or deep.
