Maytag Pet Pro is so Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The amount of pet hair this machine catches is phenomenal. The filter that catches the hair is so easy to clean!! It does not get all the hair, but it catches about 80% to 90%. That is less hair to clean up in the laundry room and less hair in the dryer, thus reducing wear and tear. Add to that, it is less hair that goes into the sewage system which can cause so many drain problems. This may be the most satisfying washing machine purchase I have made in the last 50 years!!

Love the Washer

I had previously had one without the center agitator and was never happy with the quality of the clean of the my clothes. A center agitator was a must. Bought Maytag due to the reputation of the product. I do not have a pet in the house anymore but the center area does catch a lot of lint and such.

Pet pro washer is a must for animal loving people.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We brought this washer in March 2025, and it's a really good so far. The washer does remove pet hair as advertised, we know because we have five indoor cats. Our clothes seem cleaner and the cat hair is clearly being caught in the agitator hair trap. Before, we had a LG and with no agitator and the clothes just did not seem very clean. Also the LG washer often had a bad smell and it just was not good. My wife and I are so glad we decided to switch over to an american made washer.

Like the color

Don’t really like all the computer stuff. More to break down and more expensive to fix. I actually bought it for the black color. Would have rather had a simple machine in black with no computer junk but you don’t make them.

Collects the dog hair when you use the pet pro button but it does fill the washing machine with water which means longer washing. Spin cycle is strong, clothes come out almost dry. Quiet.
