Very happy with the system so far.
I recently purchased this system to heat and cool my home workshop building. It arrived in very good condition with no damage either to the packaging or the unit itself. I had watched several Youtube videos showing individuals installing the systems they had purchased, and was impressed with the "DIY" feature, as I really didn't want to spend the money to have a licensed HVAC tech do the install. The installation manual, while not being overly detailed, did provide enough information to perform the install without any problems. It took two of us about a day and a half, and when we applied power to the outdoor unit, it began supplying hot air as expected. I'll have to wait until next summer to fully check out the A/C side of the system, but so far I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Easy installation and hook up however terminal block mis-wired from factory. After a couple of discussions with tech support( who were great) got wiring corrected and unit fired right up.

Bought this for a detached workshop and worked really well for first month +. Cooled the area down quickly and very straightforward DIY installation. Great for the garage
I spend a lot of time in my garage and was heating it with a pellet stove and kerosene heaters and found that to be time consuming and expensive. I don't usually keep it heated when I am not using it so to heat the garage it takes time to get the pellet stove running and for the garage to heat up. So I bought the Mrcool 36000 diy mini split. I am a Electo- Mechanical Technician so the install was simple for me but this unit is heavy so I suggest help and to consult an electrician on your local codes. The install took about two and a half hours with help not encluding the electrical which I had done on the previous day and it could not be any simpler. The hardest part is hanging the airhandler thats where you need help pulling the tubing through plus i installed the condenser on a side mount bracket and needed help lifting it on. After the install I turned it on and could not believe how quite and hot the air was. I also tested the cooling and now will have the coolest garage in town. The ability to control this unit using the app on my android phone from anywhere is great. I can turn the unit on before I got into the garage and have it heated or cold and ready to go. I suggest this unit to anyone who needs to heat a garage or larger area. The only thing that could be improved on is that this unit requires a 35 amp circuit feeding it and the electrical terminals in the outside unit are to small for 8 awg wire so most do it yourselfers are not going to have the equipment to crimp on the one hole connectors required to make the connection so an electrician might be required to do the connection.

Puts out the cold air!!!
Installed this in our fast food restaurant during a mini Midwest heat wave. Our seating area was running 89 degrees during the day!!! And could only drop to about 82 overnight because of refrigeration and “leftover” heat from appliances. Over the first night it dropped it all the way to 65 and was able to maintain 72 the next day with all the appliances on and people opening and closing the door all day!!! I’m impressed.

If you can tighten a bolt, then you can connect the condenser to the air handler - that simple. Packaging was VERY well done - no chance of shipping damage. Bought this to cool and dehumidify my garage. Great packaging...well protected and easy to unpack once it arrived. Just follow the instructions and you will be on your way to a comfortable space. Received the newest Enhance Smart Controller which provides the WiFi link to the air conditioner through the SmartHVAC app on my iPhone. The App is great and has worked flawlessly since I installed the mini-split. I like all the features except the history. I feel the ON duration should track the compressor run time, not the system On time. I find the system on time rather worthless in tracking how efficiently my schedules are working.

Seriously Saved Me
Last year I spent about $2,000 during the winter to warm the house with propane. This year I got a Mr. Cool and my heating costs have been cut in half. I'm 73 years old. I bought this to heat and cool my 24' x 36' x 14' ceiling workshop. I read the detailed instructions and watched a couple YouTube videos. I had never worked with HVAC prior to wiring and installing this unit, It was easy to understand the unit and its installation. I installed it by myself (there were a couple steps that I could have used a little help). So far, so good. I've been through a -12 F night with no issues. Love it.

Experience of Mechanically Competent Home Owner
I bought the unit about six months and ago. It worked very well at air conditioning a fairly large master bedroom suite and it is extremely quiet. I tried using it for heating and failed to properly place it on the hear mode. Once corrected, it worked equally well for heating. This is an excellent functional unit, but the installation was more of a challenge than the online videos represent, so anticipate that it will take more time and effort than your optimum expectations. It is doable and you will need a second person to help you with the mounting on the wall. I am overall very pleased with the unit.
