Works great!
Had to replace a 3.0 with a 3.1. Spectrum changed protocols and never notified me until I called them to find out why my internet wasn't working. This was a quick need and it solved all the problems created by Spectrum.

excellent modem
Excellent product thus far. Simple plug and play installation and connectivity with my routers. The only recommendation I would make is that it needs more than 1 RJ45 port, but I'm not a tech wiz so I don't know how much that matters on a modem. Whatever the case, its worked very well in the week that I've had it.

Needed Upgrade
We needed to upgrade our modem. After reviewing several options both in-store and on-line, I reviewed our best option with our IT person at work. He said he has the same modem on his system at home and said it would be a great choice. Decision was made and installation was fairly easy, even for a non-IT tech guy. New modem works so much better.

This thing just works. My connection from the ISP is supposed to be 500 down and this modem does that with ease. Sometimes it even goes a little higher.

Fast And Good
My internet plan is 500 down and 50 up and I can get the full speed through it. My ping is also very good and I can get as low as 9ms ping in games. It worked perfectly when I connected it to my deco meah network.

CM1000 with my IP
I bought the CM1000 cable modem from Netgear August 5th 2023. I am well pleased with this modem. This cable modem works just fine with Vyve Broadband service provider. I gave Vyve the cable modem information and they had it up and running in just a few minutes. All of my cabling is Cat 6E router and PCs are 1 Gig. Great speed.

Been using Netgear for years but this one is even easier to use. Has Wi-Fi button on it. Can easy turn on n off if ever needed.
