So far so good. Finally getting the correct speeds we pay for in my area. Not much lag for gaming using wifi. Seems to have a nice amount of bandwidth as well. Much needed upgrade for our internet.

Replaced my Cox Gateway
This netgear modem/router was really easy to set up. I simply unplugged the old panoramic wifi gateway, connected the coax cable and wall power cord, and then called Cox to register the new device. They needed the serial number and mac address. Wifi works good so far and allows me to connect to my Pentair remote device for my pool/spa which had been an issue with the Cox gateway.

Easy setup and use
We are a gaming household and I’ve struggled over the years to help my internet keep up. We recently moved into a new house and were able to go for the modem/router combo which has been amazing! It’s easy to use and see what is happening in the app and ongoing maintenance will be a breeze.

Fast, reliable
Awesome modem so far. I live in a 2,100 square foot home and have no connection issues. I also upgraded my Internet to 2 gigabit download speeds and this modem appears to handle that. While I don't quite see 2 gigabit speeds, we have multiple TVs, laptops, Ipads, phones, and other devices connected and have no issues or lag on any device. Would recommend if you can afford it!

Wi-Fi speed doubled
Previous unit was N600 (c3700) and I have been extremely pleased with it's performance for years. Only upgraded because ISP speeds have increased and I noticed the c3700 was getting tired. CAX80 Nighthawk has some shoes to fill but came out of the box swinging....or flying rather.
