Awesome replacement for old equipment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a setup with a separate modem and router for years now. It had come to the point where I had to reboot them almost daily, so it was time to look for new equipment. This Nighthawk (CAX80) was the perfect solution and is able to handle the new WiFi parameters of my new PC as well. Easy to setup with Xfinity - did it all through the apps.

Took back my internet!
I am a long time Netgear user. I moved and thought the Xfinity modem would be better because they said it worked seemly with their cable boxes. I learned the hard way I found out that by buying my own Netgear nighthawk I was able to bypass the throttle line. Bypass the congestion. Split the band. Take control of my network with a real easy user interface. For instance, I put all my smart devices on 2.4 cause that’s what they are put all my media devices are 5. Separating them was a game changer.

You need this!
This modem router is amazing! We recently upgraded our WiFi with Xfinity and needed a new modem to go with. We have tons of devices connected and our speed is better than ever! It’s quick and easy to set up. We’ve always used Netgear for all our modem needs and have never been disappointed.

Easy internet upgrade
For a reasonable price, I was able to get this single device to replace my modem and router. The setup was quick and simple using the app. Reconnecting all of my Wi-Fi devices was easy.

Works great

Amazing speeds
I had xfinity xfi modem router combo, which was not giving me enough coverage to all my rooms. I choose netgear nighthawk cax80 and I am experiencing amazing speeds and full coverage and very less ping to play call of duty mobile games on foreign servers.

We love that not only do we save money with not having to rent a router! We never have a problem with it and it has all the incredible options like to hardwire a line in or the usb ports or all the different channels

Nighthawk is fantastic
The cable modem router is the best one I’ve ever had. The speed times on my fire sticks even on far rooms is superb. I have 2 kids with multiple devices running on my network and this modem has handle it all. The app is great too with the features it has on it. I like that it has an armor feature for a VPN to boot. Great buy!

Immediately started to pay back itself. All my devices showed faster response. All my wireless and wired networks are at peak performance. It was super easy to set up and use. The boot time is so small I get to use my internet very fast, which means if I have to reboot I won’t have to wait much. The app also made it easy and is user friendly. 0 complaints highly recommended.

Good Router
I purchased a new NETGEAR router as part of a trouble shooting process when my WiFi stopped working. It turned out to be a firmware issue with my new modem. I planned to use the new/updated router anyway. But it would not connect to everything. So I reinstalled my AX6000, and it works seamlessly with the new modem.

This is a great cable modem/router. It’s very easy to setup and it’s very fast. Also, you get a 2.4ghz and 5G plus yo get a 2.4ghZ and 5G guest setups. With the guest logins you can print out a QR code for each one and can just have your guests scan the QR code to log in without having to provide any details.

Works Great
Haven't had any problems so far. I've always had good luck with Neatgear products. I had to upgrade because my old router wasn't fast enough for my current internet speeds and it's been doing an excellent job. I also like that it's able to connect more devices since we have quite a few we use daily.

Researched and swapped out their equipment for this modem/router combo and my service has been better. I would recommend so far.

Fast speeds, great monitoring software
Upgraded from a Netgear DOCSIS 3.0 to the new 3.1 Nighthawk and immediately got better speeds through my ISP. The trial software/app that came with the modem is great for monitoring and managing the modem/routers features. Highly recommend this product
