Netgear - Best Support / Logical Product
Netgear was flawless. The modem it was replacing failed to operate when wi-fi and radio settings were turned off. I am electrosensitive, so I have to have ethernet, and I am so grateful that, Netgear is still respectfully providing that safety-related functionality.

Great Modem Router
I bought this because I was tired of paying my ISP provider for renting theirs and not being able to use the USB port. I connected an external drive to have a mini network. Works great for streaming files and music to all my devices.
The modem setup was easy and straightforward. I really like the nighthawk app as well as the web interface. I feel confident that my network is secure and that I have the control to use everything the way I want to.

I had a Motorola combo router modem, which after 7 years began to drop wifi connectivity too often. It was time for a new one. I read many comparative reviews on combo units and Netgear was most often rated best. I bought the 7700 netgear nighthawk combo. The set up took me 1 1/2 hours, I knew it would take some time from reading comments of those who purchased one like it. Once connected it has been very good. No more dropping wifi. I can’t comment on download as my coverage only allows 300 mb. I am satisfied.

Ok this is what you need to know/ xfinity must set up the ip address to the modem because this is a duo set up . them net gear can will be able to connect to the router and register the account when setting it up. so call xfinity first give them the model number then the sinal will come and then call net gear and register the device. the nighthawk is really strong . havent had any signal problems. Plus I only use the wifi from xfinity on the strongest signal.

needing a replacement, we went from Motorola to Nighthawk. glad we did. faster speed, sleeker design. would stay with Netgear in the future
