We recently began cutting Comcast/Xfinity out of our lives. I did a little research on router/modem combos compatible with current xfinity provided internet and the new Ezee fiber services and we made the switch seamlessly. After about a week, the Nighthawk CAX30 seems to be working perfectly. Very satisfied thus far.

Really happy with it!
My old router finally died, and I replaced it with this one. The previous one, for its entire lifespan, needed to be reset about every week and still constantly dropped connections. I've had the CAX30 running for about two weeks now and have not yet had a single connection drop. Wi-Fi signal seems strong throughout the house.
I also really appreciate how fully-featured it is; unfortunately setup with Xfinity didn't go as smoothly as I'd have liked and they were trying to tell me that I probably had a bad coax cable, but thanks to the cable diagnostics I was able to rule that problem out. Besides the ISP tangle (not Netgear's fault, and somewhat inevitable anyway) setup was easy.
If I really had to nitpick, I'd have liked if the box included an extra copy of the device's MAC and CMAC addresses on a slip of paper or something. The way the bottom of this device is angled and labeled, you kind of need three hands to be able to see the MAC/CMAC and either take a picture or copy them down so you can send them to your ISP.

Finally upgraded to a 3.1 system after years of having an outdated unit, what a world of difference. I have never had more consistent and reliable internet service. For a house hold that has two people working full time from home and one that competitively games as a hobby - the nighthawk CAX30 was the right move!

Ourstanding Modem Router Combo
We had a Motorola modem router combo for the past 18 months. It replaced a Netgear unit that after 4 years became inoperable due to a serious home power surge. Outstanding Modem Router Combo
We have been using a Motorola modem router combo for the past 18 months after our previous Netgear unit of 4 years became inoperable after a serious home power surge. The Motorola was a recommendation from our internet provider and we had to add 3 wifi extenders to cover our 1 story 2300 square foot home. What a mistake! We have had nothing but problems with the unit dropping wifi, functions intermittenly failing and poor warranty support. I had to reset the unit at least once a week to keep it operating. Support would repair the unit if we would send it back and receive the repaired unit within a week. What was I supposed to do for a week without a modem router?

Highly satisfied
Recently purchased and very satisfied with the access anywhere feature to monitor and control teen screen time. Added bonus is Netgear Armor that runs a security check every time a new device connects to our wifi. Kids have also stopped complaining about load times for online school work and streaming. Definitely worth the extra money to get WiFi 6.

We purchased the nighthawk router to upgrade and retention our rented one from our internet provider. We have e had ot installed for about a week now and it has been amazing. With our rented router we had to purchase an extender because our plaster walls were interfering with the signal upstairs, mind you our house is small and old. We disconnected the extender and haven't needed it since and our internet connection has been faster then ever despite a few auto connection hiccups in the beginning it is now working great and was easy to troubleshoot through the app. Great product!

Blazing speed!
Before I got the nighthawk I was getting 100 mbps if I was lucky. I know that's not horrible, but when you're paying for 400 mbps it's really frustrating. Now with this new nighthawk I get 400 mbps no sweat. Loving it!
