Cable modem pinnacle
I just want to say that this cable modem has exceeded my expectations.
I found out that I was being limited by my old modem when I was upgraded to the one gig bundle.
This modem takes the speed that I was promised and brings it into my house.
It was easy to set up and figure and I’ve have had no issues since.

The One and Only
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you use Xfinity you can buy your own modem or use theirs. While using theirs I noticed that Xfinity made my home a hot spot for their subscribers. They effectively resell you wifi. You can opt out in the app but mine kept turniing it on. So unless you want to give strangers access to your wifi and let Comcast resell your bandwidth you have to own your own equipment. This is the most reliable way to go.

Nighthawk always works for me.
This is my third Nighthawk product from Netgear. The reason for multiple products is to keep pace with upgraded service from my ISP, I've never had an issue with any of my Nighthawk products. They work as advertised. I have Xfinity home internet, and pair this top-tier cable modem with an Orbi mesh wifi system, which is also a Netgear product..

Reliable equipment
I've installed and run my network on Netgear Nighthawk cable modems for ~8 years. My only reason for recent replacement of my CM1000 was for an available speed increase (from 450 MB to 1200 MB ) by the cable company. As expected, the CM3000 connected seamlessly. I paired with a refurbished RS100 (2.5 GB over Cat 8) to my existing Netgear 1 GB switch (GS108) for the 1 GB desktops

Easy setup
I'm an 80-yr-old woman and I had no problem setting up my new modem. TV reception had been squirrelly lately and this new modem seems to have corrected that problem. I've been a Netgear fan for years and years.

Not bad for the price
Great product that installed quickly and got all my devices up and running in less than 30 minutes. Quick set up, slightly confusing (please just make it plug and play with one touch update to all existing devices on the network).

Much faster upload, ready for future upgrades
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Xfinity finally decided to upgrade the network in our area so we could get faster speeds. The main issue was mostly the upload speed. After the upgrade, I needed a new modem to take advantage of it. I had a CM1000 before and it's been great, so I got this CM3000 to replace it. Upload speed has significantly improved, to the extend Xfinity offers in the plan anyway. Also allows me to prep for other network upgrades to make my stuff multi-gig ready!

Great cable modem
I upgraded to this from an Arris Surfboard modem and I'm getting 900 mbps yet my tech told me that wasn’t possible because he didn’t know wtf he was talking about. As usual. This modem also works easily with the Google mesh 6e on Cox Communications 1gbps plan.

Excellent modem and perfect paired with Nighthawk RS600 WiFi7 Router. It’s nice to be up to speed in the 21st century. Now if can just get my local ISP to install fiber it would be the full package, coming soon… Thank you Netgear :).
