Easy installation. Clear great quality videos. The light turns on at night when there is a motion. Sensitive motion detection. So far the weather resistance stands. Good lasting battery with solar.

Why didn't I buy this sooner? The RING camera over my garage is just out off my reach using a ladder. I dreaded changing the batteries which only lasted 3 months. With this my batteries are nearly always at 100%. If we have several cloudy days they quickly come back to full power after one sunny day. I even left the light on overnight which totally drained one of the batteries and it fully recharged after 2 sunny days. If you can't hard wire your cameras definitely purchase this. My son installed it on less than 15 minutes. It looks nice too. Would definitely recommend any of the RING products.

Great addition to any ring camera that has the option. Had 2 for several years without issue. They had survived 115 degrees down to 14 degress without any problems.

Game changer
This was a game changer. I have never had to recharge my ring outdoor camera since buying this solar panel. our camera sits up high making it difficult to be constantly climbing up to change the batteries. highly recommend this purchase.

I love my product
I love my product but had to buy the solar attachment due to the battery drainage that would drain in such a past pace which cost additional money. But the solar definitely work, not as often do I need to update the battery. 5 stars. Ring Solar Panel #needingupdateproducts

Game changer! I have
Game changer! I have a Ring Spotlight Cam Battery and I had purchased an additional batter for that. With my level of paranoia (meaning that I wanted so many alerts that it drained the battery fast) the batteries were getting taken out constantly. I am very surprised and pleased with the difference that this made. I was hesitant to spend the money when I already had a battery that I could charge, but this is well worth it.

Great Security Camera, Feel safe
We have a couple of the Ring camera using solar for our front yard, backyard and on the sides. With the solar, we do not need to worry about replacing battery and helps with electricity efficiency. The video qualities are great. And the cameras capture any movements and send the alerts through Ring app. One point was taken off as Ring does not provide records back up for free or pull up any records from the app unless we viewed live. Other than that, we really appreciate the Ring security system for our house and would highly recommend.

I bought the solar
I bought the solar panel camera for the exterior of my home which gets sun all day. I can’t complain, it keeps the camera working and the camera is clear and always recording. The solar is a great choice if you don’t have an outdoor outlet.

Worth it to get one of you use ring.
I'll review my review after winter but over summer it definitely helped as the hwy sets my cameras off most of the day so they were killed a few times before installing/adding the solar panel and now it's efficient and effective. My system runs on my WiFi but I wish they had a stand alone plan that ran on a hot stop so my internet speed wouldn't get slowed.

It is not 100% what I expected, it works but by midnight the light is not bright anymore. I don't know if it is mine that is defective or is the way they all work.

This is EH. The charging solar sucks. Half the time you gave to take the battery out to change. The quality is also eh. Only good thing really is the price of membership. Otherwise I give it an EH.

How long is the wire
I’m in a two story house my solar panel is on the second floor my spot cam is on the first floor so I’m guessing about 16 feet but I never measured the length of the wire
