Makes me feel secure.
Installation of the Ring was quick and easy to follow the instructions. Battery life and video quality are good. The only negative is that it picks up traffic going up and down our road. Love that you can change the doorbell chime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Ring Video Doorbell 4. I'm also using the Ring Chime (2nd Gen) with it. The Chime responds quicker to motion than my iPhone or iPad. I get some delays that last as long as 30 seconds, but that may be my wifi. The Ring Video Doorbell 4 works very well and I like it because it lets me know when a package is delivered. I was on vacation in another state, and I was able to tell the delivery person to push my package closer to the house to keep it from getting wet. I was also able to talk to my neighbor and thank her for putting my packages into my house. It also came with an additional free front cover. The one it comes with is silver and got a gold one for free. My dog knows from the sound that someone is at the front door and she responds when she hears the Ring tone sound. I turned every feature on, even the ones they warn will drain the battery, and still the battery stayed charged for a whole month without ever being charged. This was a concern and so I tried to hook it up to my electric doorbell, but my voltage was too low to work with the Ring Video Doorbell 4.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great protection specially for a single mom, and the monthly three dollar fee for recording is perfect for my budget. The app works amazingly well and it is updated, there are a ton of features. The camera clarity is superb only downfall is proximity for clarity. But that’s OK! I love the fact that I can pre-record voice memos and my visitors can record memos to my liking of a set duration of time. Super easy to install and easy to maintain. The community on the app is even better, you really get to know what’s going on in your neighborhood with your Ring community! This doorbell camera is very user-friendly and consumer friendly. I would highly recommend it. Another great feature is I can talk directly to the person who rang the doorbell or use a pre-recorded statement. Allows me to keep track of my preteen and unwanted visitors.

Love My Ring!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring Doorbell 4 comes nicely packaged with everything you will need for easy installation. The directions are very straightforward and include step-by-step instructions including a code that you scan to easily add to the Ring app. My home already has a battery Ring security camera and the Doorbell 4 easily added to the app. There is a 30 day free use of the app for video storage and after there is a very small fee to continue video storage which is worth the peace of mind and nominal compared to many other security systems. The main thing that I love about the Ring Doorbell 4 is that you can hardwire into an existing doorbell or you can use the supplied battery for those that do not have a doorbell on your home already. We have a standard Doorbell and chose to hardwire the Ring Doorbell 4. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow with the screws, tools and in about 25 minutes the Ring Doorbell 4 was installed and ready to use. Syncing to the Ring app was easy and the main things I really like are the 1080p HD video, two-way talk, live view, real-time notifications and easy settings on the app allowing you to set various zones that you wish to pick up on your smart phone. I value the safety of my family and my home and with the Ring Doorbell 4 I can connect and customize all of my Ring devices via the Ring app making my family and home safe. Another great feature of the Ring Doorbell 4 is the customizable motion controls, video previews and the fact that the faceplate is sleek and adds a touch of class to my front entrance. I have been so happy with the Ring Doorbell 4 that I plan to purchase more Ring devices to add even more protection for my family and my home.

Awesome Camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several different brands of cameras for inside and outside my home. None have compared to the quality of Ring cameras. With the video doorbell 4 the quality of the picture is outstanding. I can see perfectly from my porch and across my lawn to the neighbors and on each side of us. It picks up motion really well and gives a glimpse as to what was caught before the real video recording comes up in color. The app is really easy to use. You can go through the different options to see what works best for you and what you want to be alerted on. You can even snooze the alerts. You can change the distance from which you want to start recording from. It's so easy to setup and watch back videos. You can also share the videos. My phone gives me a small picture in my notifications before I even open it to see what set off the alarm. You have the option to talk through the camera to the person at the door. It has a ton of great features. The most important to me is the picture quality. I will continue to buy Ring products whenever I need a new alarm at my home.

I wanted to use its battery and use for video and surveillance. It works great. The battery is rechargeable and it can be connected to Alexa- you can also ring the bell on the ring and you get alerted thru the app or thru Alexa.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!! What an upgrade. I’m loving this new ring doorbell. What a huge difference.
I can now answer motions and rings quickly, it’s a lot clearer, it’s a wider angle, Beautiful picture quality for being battery powered, I can see color at night versus black and white, I see a preview of what I missed when answering a motion. The battery last way longer even though I constantly get notifications. No more having to remove the whole camera to charge it. The new version now includes a battery that slips out from the bottom to charge. No more having to remove the whole camera.
Important information to know.
I was not able to install the new model exactly where I had the first generation. We had to drill new holes. I took my husband and I about an hour to install.
Overall I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy and simple to install. Great vision quality. And the night vision is absolutely amazing. The features alone on this version are worth every penny. As an added plus I can request a different color bottom faceplate. It is slightly larger than the others but not in a bulky way. I also love that I can communicate with Alexa (for an added fee). Battery life is pretty good too. The best feature of all is the clear and sharp picture quality. That is the best and clearly the most important. After all that's why you have or get a Ring camera. At the end of the day it gives you peace of mind that is priceless.

Ring doorbell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this ring doorbell. It is very easy to set it up. The first thing you have to do is take the battery out and charge it. After that you can install it with the battery in it. I have it for about two weeks now and my battery is still charged. It is very easy to set up through Wi-Fi. You can also use it with a wire connection if you already have a doorbell. It comes with the instructions the instructions are very easy to read to help you set it up. After you install it you download the app on your phone. From there you will set up the Wi-Fi. Now it only comes with the outside doorbell. I went ahead and purchased the inside chime so that I could hear it from the inside of the house. I really like it when you go into the app in the settings you set it up the way you want. You can also set a perimeter of how far to the road it will record or how close do you want it to record. It is a very clear recording of whatever motion is in front of your house. I really like that fact that if I am not home and somebody comes to my door I can view it and speak to them from my ring doorbell Just like if I would be home. I really like the picture of you love it I mean in the live videos or the recorded motions it is very very clear it has an awesome picture. I am thinking about purchasing one for my back door as well. I like that it makes me feel more comfortable at my house being alone during the day.On the app it shows you the percentage of the battery as well

Clear and precise

I'm a night shifter and this has made my life so much better for sleeping when I can pick my phone up to see who Is at the door rather than getting up. I am really surprised by the quality and clarity of video, no lag. It was easy to Install the doorbell itself, and app is user friendly as well, also a big plus for me as I have not tech savvy at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first video doorbell we have owned and so far we're loving it. It's an attractive, simple design that was easy to install. We are currently using battery, so have bought a second since our temperatures are hot and we receive a lot of packages from working at home. I plant to hardware in the future, but the battery is easy to swap out quickly. The video quality is good and knowing when packages arrive, along with the surveillance it gives our front yard, is worth it alone.

Once installed can link the doorbell with the App. I do like the clarity and video this doorbell has but the pre-roll feature seems a little grainy. Really cool to see video of things being delivered to my home and even people who pass by that it will record. You can set area you want to monitor with this as well. Never though I would be so impressed by this type of doorbell technology though I have noticed just a slight delay when connecting from wifi to device for responses which could be better. You will have to recharge the battery as with any device like this and maybe investing in a 2nd battery for this as well as a back up is not a bad idea.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ring camera is great, not only do you have a door bell but also a camera to see who is at your door and easy talk to them through the camera. This camera can either be wired in or you can use the rechargeable battery that comes with the device, it also has a security screw so not just anyone can open it up. The picture is pretty good and also has night vision, if you are looking for a camera that will cover a good bit of area then this will not cover your needs. It mainly will just serve as a doorbell and security camera for your front door or porch. It was not hard to install at all it came with easy to follow instructions and was installed within 30 mins or less. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone. Another plus is the monthly subscription is much cheaper than others out there.

It was easy to install as we hardwired it into our existing doorbell setup. It was easy to set up my account and I especially appreciate the features. I love being able to answer the door and screen visitors. I especially appreciate being able to access archive footage so that in the event of an incident with a neighborhood dog or vandalism, we have the footage available. I highly recommend this to anyone on the fence about purchasing a video doorbell. You can't beat the security and convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Ring Doorbell so I was looking forward to the added security and being able to see, hear and talk through the doorbell!
It was really straight forward, quick and easy to install, I charged the battery overnight before installing. Once up it was quick to install the app on my phone and setup the device. The video is excellent, in color and both day and night it is clear and crisp. I get 4 sec video notifications when motion is sensed so can see who is at the door and can keep an eye on packages delivered while out. I can even have a conversation with someone at the door!
The one area that could be improved is when sharing the device with my wife so she could set up her own access through her phone, we found it took far too long for the access to go through, it was around 72 hrs until she was able to see the device. But despite that one issue I would definitely recommend the Ring Doorbell 4.

angle. It gives alerts in real time. I can see right away if anyone approaches my house. It gives me piece of mind when I am away from home. Highly recommend!

Great update with video quality
