got our monies worth
We purchased the new Roku to replace an old one we had. The old one was starting to have intermittent issues. A couple of times a week we would have to unplug the old one from power source and re-plug. Never quit working but the hassle of unplugging and re-plugging became more than the cost of a new one.

Not only is Roku the best streaming service on the market today.
But the Roku Ultra makes streaming and watching the channels you love outstandingly easy.
If your still paying for satellite or cable TV. Then your simply paying to much for much less.

Superior Product
I have several Roku’s & use Fire TV for my elderly Dad as it integrates with his Alexa. I find the Roku so much better, easier to control & customize & the Ultra is the best model with its built-in headphone plug in the remote. I also love that I’ve only just had to replace the original Roku I bought like 10+ years ago, nice that you let the consumer get a good lifespan before upgrading past the point of functionality.

Started with a fire stick years ago, switched to Roku about 7-10 years ago! Truly love the ease of use - only down side was replacing the batteries on the remote. Roku sent info on the Ultra unit I have now and I really like the rechargeable remote! Still exploring all the features!

The best
The Roku Ultra (2024) is an excellent streaming device. The design of the unit blends in with any set up you may have and small enough to be tucked away if needed. The interface is just as simple and easy to use as ever before. The apps load fast and the picture quality is top notch. I know they have updated the Wifi radio in the unit, but I have mine hardwired so I can't speak on the speeds and connectivity. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing a streaming device that is going to be the main piece in your A/V system.

I bought the Ultra to use with an older (but still 4K) TV. The addition of HDR/Dolby Vision has made the picture on my old TV look great. A big improvement at a low cost.

Excellent device and easy to use
We replaced an older model with this one and are really loving it! The ability to use a Bluetooth headset and connect it directly to the unit instead of the remote means the remote doesn't need charging nearly as often. This unit is also MUCH faster than our previous model. Unlike past models, we've had this one for several months and it has never locked up, unlike older ones that needed to be unplugged about every 3 weeks. We originally bought this to replace a 15-,year- old one that got zapped by a power surge, but we loved it so much that we bought another one to upgrade the other unit in our house.
