Great dryer for small spaces!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one in January 2024, it worked at the apartment I was but never to the point I wanted. I just moved to a new place and brought the dryer with me, updated the plug to a 4-pin and now the dryer is amazing, takes only 40 minutes to dry a full load of towels. I'm super happy with it. The only Con I would put is the price tag, is more expensive than a full size, but when you don't have the space, is the way to go.

Perfect size for small space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed in area too small for full size unit. I like it's quite operation. I have a longer vent run than normal. It would be nice if there was a stronger exhaust fan.

Great Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great compact dryer! All my laundry came out completely dry with little to no wrinkles. All the features worked as expected and I was truly impressed with how quiet and stable it was (no moving, vibrations, or loud noises, etc). The dryer was able to handle heavy loads very easily and the app proved notifications to alert me from the start of the drying cycle to the end. I would highly recommend this dryer to anyone looking for an appliance that Mets all their needs because it definitely met all of mines.

Good Size Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer has all the functions that anyone needs to have their clothes dried in no time, I used the heavy function on my dryer, my clothes came out nice and fluffy and dry, they smelt so good, and the best part is that this Samsung dryer is so quite that i could barely hear it running. I love how it connects easily with the smart app and you can see the status of the drying process. I would definitely recommend this Samsung dryer to anyone who have small space but need a new tech machine.

Perfect size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my Samsung dryer, it is a perfect size for my apartment and has all the latest technology. My clothes came out nice and soft, i can barely hear the machine running and the smart app is the best feature as i can see how long the cycle is left, if i forget to turn it on, i can do it through the app. I highly recommend this dryer!

Stackable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the compact size of this dryer and also that it can be stacked. Perfect for an apartment, airbnb, etc. Even though it is compact, the tumbler will dry a full load of laundry. The ventless option works great in our basement where it was more difficult to get it vented outside. The heat pump style is energy-efficient and long term gentler on your clothing. Lots of settings for optimal drying such as wrinkle prevent, damp alert, etc. Will connect via Wi-fi to your Smart Things app with is very handy.

Compact
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was not sure how I would feel about the heat pump on this dryer. However, it has proven to do the job. Gently on laundry. It does seem to take a little extra time to get laundry fully dry. Be sure to empty the tank after use since it is ventless. The ventless option is versatile and super convenient for our basement set up. The interior light is great; The door can be switched from right to left. Really like the sanitize feature, especially for sheets and towels. Like the washer this offers the capability to connect to Wifi and the Smart Things feature on your phone.

The Amazing Dryer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is amazing! It’s extremely quiet, you would literally forget it was on. I love all the options as far as the settings, the sleek white look, and that it’s compact. The feature that sings a song when the load is complete is a great addition.

Superior Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exceptional quality by Samsung. The dryer fit perfect in space we have. Very easy to operate. The settings provided are easy to understand. Low noise level and very fast to dry. The Smart Things app help so you can keep track of progress. Clothes come out dry and little to no wrinkles. It has a reminder to check your lint filter which is great as I always forget.

Energy efficient, advanced and love the presets
Our dryer was malfunctioning - when I put heavy laundry in it it wouldn't spin. So I upgraded to this Samsung Electric dryer and boy oh boy, I only with I did it sooner! The way this dryer dries laundry is very interesting in that it seems to "squeeze" the water out. My old washer was more a vent dryer and would blast heat to dry. So this Samsung dryer is definitely more efficient, energy saving and I feel it is much better for my clothes as well! It's definitely more advanced and just like the partnered washer has preset dials for simple peeps like me (lol) I love the preset dials. It's very easy to use and I haven't connected it to my wifi / app yet. Which is cool that I would know when my laundry is done and all that. I'm definitely very happy with this Samsung electric dryer so far and yes, it is much quieter than my old one. My tiny pet peeves are that you have to do three things somewhat often if you do laundry everyday like me - cleaning the lint after every dry; emptying the water container after every dry; later the heat link thingy down below after a number of dries (not sure the proper name). So that's something you have to get used to but it does dry efficiently. I also notice I'm not able to empty ALL the water and there seems to be just a tiny bit still rolling inside. Other than that this is still a big improvement from my old one and would definitely still recommend!

Great Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dryer. I love all the different options the dryer has and the high-tech functionality the Wi-Fi connectivity brings. I have used a few options and they all perform excellently and leave the clothes dry. The minor drawback or complaint is that the "wrinkle prevention" feature takes a long time and the clothes still come out with very marked wrinkles. It takes up to three hours to allow the clothes to come out wrinkle-free. I need to try other settings and use more fabric softeners to see if it improves. Although it is fair to mention that my previous dryer was gas and gas usually performs better preventing wrinkles. It is quiet and you can barely feel it running. Once connected to Wi-Fi, it will let you know how long it will take to complete, how far along it is, the cycle that it is currently in, etc. You can stop, restart, and pause it from your Smart Things app. It will also let you know when done. It has an alarm that indicates the dryer is done. Clothes come out very dry.

Drys like a champ
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's not much to say about this dryer. It drys very well and is surprisingly large drum unlike its washing partner. It is also super compact, and had wifi connections. But just like the washer the wifi connection needs to be made after every use so pointless to me. It is super quiet. Nothing fancy about it and. In my opinion it's not worth the price tag. I have to build a platform for the set since they are xxsmall. The picture is of the new xxs samsung dryer vs my previous Whirlpool dryer. And the 2 black marks on the wall is where the top of my old set. You can see how much smaller the new set is.

Fantastic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use it almost daily and love it! The vibration reduction technology is great - it’s one of the quietest dryers I’ve encountered. The loudest thing about it is the song it sings at the end.
One potential downside of a ventless dryer is that you have to empty the water tank after every use, but this one is easy to get to and the dryer will remind you if you forget. The damp alert function is pretty cool - it’ll dry just as much as it needs to. We mostly just use the normal dry setting or delicate settings, though - those work great. It’s also nice that you can save the options/cycles you use the most.
Maintenance: The lint trap looks complicated, with separate inner and outer chambers, but it’s very easy to clean. The dryer also reminds you to clean the lint trap and vent, which is nice. The tools that came with it to clean feel durable and work well - the brush feels like it’ll last as long as the dryer.
All in all, we’re really happy with it. Being a heat pump dryer, it’s not fast - but that’s arguably a plus, since that will improve the lifespan of our clothes.

Smart Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the style of this dryer, but I thought the door would be more transparent. It is barely transparent but it has a light that you can turn on while in use. Since this is an energy saving dryer, it takes longer to dry things which I had to get used to since my last dryer was not energy efficient. I really like all the different cycles it has. Using a cycle in relation to the type of fabric I am using has really restored the quality of the fabrics. I am amazed! The Smart Things app is a great feature but it needs some updates. For example, I can't see how long a load is going to take before starting the cycle, I can't turn my dryer on or off my with it, etc. There was no instructions on where to drain the vent but I figured it out after my dryer stopped working. It is in the same spot you would put your detergent in the washer. The dryer is advertised as quiet but I think it sounds like the average dryer. My dryer door opens up in the same direction as my washer door which I don't like and I'm hoping can be reversed. I don't have mine stacked. The pros definitely outweigh the cons though. I am very happy to do my laundry with this dryer. I am still exploring new and better ways to do my laundry with it.

Love it!
First impressions: it’s fairly light and easy to move with two people. It came wrapped in thick plastic and cardboard, not a lot of styrofoam.
Install: It could’ve been just our unit, but we didn’t get an install manual. That said, it was pretty self explanatory despite being my first encounter with a ventless dryer. Before the first cycle it’ll give you a tutorial.
We use it almost daily and love it! The vibration reduction technology is great - it’s one of the quietest dryers I’ve encountered. The loudest thing about it is the song it sings at the end.

Almost perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my very first electric ventless dryer. Wow, what a change! I have dried regular cotton clothes and so far it has done so efficiently and it is not too noisy. So far I have used the preset cycles of normal, towel and small load. They have dried them properly. However if it is the small load it really has to be a "small load". I did small load and it didn't dry properly - probably because it was a medium load. For this ventless dryer you have to empty the water tank after every drying cycle. That is the compromise you make vs a vented dryer. I am cool with it as this Samsung dryer really does seem very efficient and better at drying and saves electricity. There are pre-set which I have used so far but there is a feature called damp alert that I am excited to try out. Will update my review when I do so. The lint remover is easy to remove and a brush is provided for easier removal. The only issue I have (a tiny one) is the rubber ring that surrounds the lint box. Initially it was loose. Turns out you have to really press it on the lint box so it doesn't come off. Even then certain edges is loose so you kinda have to press it down or play with it a little so it doesn't come off. So on that end I'm a tad dissatisfied. I think that could be improved upon. I have not used the wifi / phone feature yet but I am definitely excited as it will be very convenient since this dryer is in the basement. The dryer does look sleep and hi tech. I'd give 4 out of 5 stars. It's a definitely improvement from my old vented dryer that would be very noisy in spinning and sometimes the whole appliance would shake rattle and roll! Definitely would recommend this ventless Samsung dryer. I think it also saves on electricity too!

OK, but requires lots of maintenance every load
After putting solar on our house, my wife and I decided to replace any old appliances that had more energy-efficient options available. We were excited to get a heat pump dryer that would eliminate the long vent going outside and also save us some electric use, so we picked up the Samsung ventless 4.0 dryer on sale. Despite following the instructions on this dryer to the letter, after a month or two our clothes quickly started smelling mildew-y after coming out of the dryer. I looked online and most people with the same issue traced it to the heat exchanger bin, and sure enough, despite using the Samsung-supplied brush to clean it every 30 days or so, opening the panel revealed lots of very fine lint deep into the fins that got past the double-filter (that we clean fully after every use. There is no way to clean the exchanger fins thoroughly without disassembling the dryer, which we have not yet done and probably won't unless it gets really bad.
Our solution (so far) - after every drying cycle, immediately open up the panel and allow the heat exchanger fins to dry fully. When you leave the panel closed, the entire compartment remains damp for days at a time between loads, making that mildew smell, and it also makes cleaning the fins more difficult. After almost every load, we brush the fins with the Samsung brush, and then I bought a hand-held vacuum with strong suction and brush attachment to get as much residual lint out of the fins as possible. So far this has kept the very fine lint from caking up on the fins and getting wet and holding mildew. Then every few loads I get in there with a longer-bristled brush and make sure I loosen up any lint that got deeper in the fins and vacuum it out.
I don't know if any other ventless dryer manufacturer has solved this issue, but my wife and I are on the fence as to whether or not we'd purchase another Samsung unit before getting assurances that we didn't need to do this much daily/weekly maintenance just to dry our clothes without them smelling like mildew. Right now, we're stomaching the extra maintenance because we want to do our part to save electricity.
We bought the extra five years of maintenance, and if this dryer breaks after that, we'll be pretty happy to replace it with something else.

Noisy dryer with no fix option
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit 8 months ago and it has become very noisy in operation with loud thumping noises. Only use it as a secondary dryer at home for small loads. What is even worse is I cannot get service since Samsung does not have service locally. My only option is troubleshooting which will not solve this problem.
