We have not had that feature so it's a great addition. The freezer has plenty of space and 2 trays for ice. If you scan the QR code, you can easily register for the warranty and connect the refrigerator to your phone via Bluetooth. This is a great feature as your phone will alert you if the door is open for too long. Fun technology to have. I highly recommend this to anyone shopping for a new refrigerator.

Very quiet with great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge replaced a previous Samsung fridge. This one makes no compressor noise, and keeps everything at the desired temp. I did not think I would use a the ice features but I run the freezer ice until the trays are half full then turn it off. This works well for me as I am not a big of ice but I do use the door ice for small drinks. I love the adaptability of this fridge but miss the fold up shelf in my prior fridge.

I am very happy with the quality and reliability of the fridge for a great price. The only negative I would say is removing all of the adhesive they use for packing was VERY tedious and took over an hour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a wonderful refrigerator. I have many Samsung products, so I was expecting a great refrigerator, and that is what I got. What really got my attention is the four different types of ice! I love ice and I always run out, so this is such a great added benefit! I really love the Ice Bites, they are wonderful. All that ice comes to goo use, especially if you have company over or having a party. The refrigerator cools really fast, it only took about an hour to get it to 37 degrees. There is so much space available in the refrigerator and also in the freezer, even with the two ice trays in the freezer. I like how the refrigerator connects to the Samsung app and how you can control the temperature and be able to turn the ice makers on and off just from your phone. The one and only thing I didn't like is that there doesn't seem to be enough lights in the refrigerator section. It seems to be a little dark towards the bottom of the refrigerator, but that is the only thing I did not like. The refrigerator keeps your food cool and fresh and doesn't disappoint at all. I definitely recommend this refrigerator and I am so glad that I purchased this one!

It has a sleek design with so much capacity. I couldn't believe that Samsung designed such a remarkable refrigerator. You can get lost in there. Easily it can fit 3 months worth of groceries. One thing that I am in love with is the SmartThings App feature. You can regulate your refrigerator from your phone. You are in control, also I am able to see all my appliances through one app which is so great. I can control the temperature remotely. I can see what's in my refrigerator. I like that I get a message if my daughter leaves the refrigerator open for too long and that I don't see her hand prints on my refrigerator. No other brand is like that. The freezer is really powerful, you can refreeze frozen ice-cream in seconds. My daughters loves ice-cream and always leaves it outside, but now it's not a problem anymore. What else can I say but simply a great investment and I am one very happy Mom.

The size is very big so fits a lot of products. It was also very easy to connect it to my phone so I can control it. My experience with the SmartThings app is great, very easy to set up and use. I have tried the power freeze a couple of times and love how quick it freezes the products. I tend to forget a lot so the 2 minute door alarm is my favorite thing on this fridge. It goes off so many times a day so it helps me remember to close the door. I love using apps so being able to adjust temperature fron my phone from the app is a major plus. It is also very easy to clean the fridge since it does not leave any finger prints on it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed after having the refrigerator installed was how big it was inside; even with a water and ice dispenser in the door. The shelves in the doors are fairly deep and can hold quite a bit. The shelves and drawers inside are sturdy and easy to clean. The freezer is deep and has a lot of room despite the large double bin for the two types of ice it produces. The freezer has cubed ice and ice bites (my daughter's favorite) while the door produces curved and crushed ice.
The initial setup with the SmartThings app was really easy and the app identified the new appliance before being prompted. With the app I can monitor when the filter needs to be changed and the internal temperature as well as get alerts.
The only negative I have to say about it thus far is that if you don't use the ice in the door for a while it gets stuck together in the bin so when cuved ice is selected it grinds it free and makes a bit of a mess. To remedy this I just had to open the storage bin and manually break the ice apart. Not a big deal but something to think about.

Surprising Space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently added this refrigerator to our kitchen and I have been happy with its performance so far. From the outside, the look is great as it is counter-depth and the flat front makes it look almost like another cabinet, although in stainless steel. The door has a water and ice dispenser that works great and is super convenient. The doors are easy to open even with cabinets to both sides. The bottom drawer has a handle on the inner topside of the drawer that easily opens it. It pulls out smoothly and has plenty of space in the lower portion. The upper drawer has two bins for different ice types that take up half of that drawer but are worth the sacrifice.
Inside the refrigerator there is about as much storage as you could ask for in a counter-depth refrigerator with a door water and ice dispenser.
Connecting the refrigerator to my SmartThings account was easy, as was setting it up from there. You can monitor water filter life, inside temperatures and get notifications if the door is left open too long.

I love Ice Bites!

I love having the different shapes and sizes of ice plus the option of turning off any of the icemakers thru the app. The SmartThings app makes the refrigerator even better, setting the exact temperature on the refrigerator and the freezer. It let's me know that the door is open, even when I'm not home. The door alarm is perfect for those people who love to gawk hoping that food will jump into their hand. It sure made me jump. It has plenty of room, and the fingerprint resistant finish is extremely helpful in the middle of a renovation. I'm betting it will just keep getting better.

Room to spare.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give my new Refrigerator a 4.5 rating. When the fridge is level the water drips from the water dispenser for a few seconds after using it. Also the in door ice maker has water mixed in with the ice when dispensing the ice. I raised the front of the fridge a bit and the water dispenser drips less, but water still drips from the ice maker when I dispense ice from the door.

From pouches of apple sauce, weird creations that somebody made, to pots and pots of food. It holds it all! The doors have special spacing for containers of juice or milk (full gallons I mean! Not just 2 liter sizes). This is great for my little guy that is still not tall enough to reach the full refrigerator. I love the fact that you can connect this fridge to your phone using Samsung smart things app. Your able to make sure that the fridge and freezer is at your selected temperature. It also tells you when any door is left open. Great for parents with younger kids. I've lost plenty of frozen items in the past because we didn't know the freezer was left open!
The ice machine is great. I didn't realize that the bottom ice maker continously makes ice! This to me is the highlight of the refrigerator! 4 different types of ice! Amazing! The freezer section is a good size. I have a deep freezer as well so the freezer section might be a problem if you freeze a lot. It's able to fit our ice cream, waffles, and a good amount of other stuff, but not our frozen packs of chicken, meats, and beef. Again, I'm a family of 4. So we freeze a lot. Still a great buy!

The Worst Refrigerator I have ever owned
We bought this refrigerator in 2020. It is the WORST refrigerator I have ever owned. We had to call a repair man within the first 6 months because the ice maker kept freezing up and would stop making ice. I never write bad reviews, but I am so fed up with this refrigerator and don't want anyone else to purchase one. The ice maker freezes up every week or two and has been for the past few years. We have to take a hair dryer to it all the time to melt the ice to get the huge chucks to come out so that it will make ice again. DO NOT EVER BUT THIS BRAND OF REFRIGERATORS.
