Replacement for RV oven unit
I replaced my original Sharp microwave/convection oven. The original lasted 17 years and operated beautifully. After the original failed I looked up the model number on the web and found this model to be an exact replacement. There were some alterations that were required to match the install but it was not difficult. Delivery was quick. Price was below what camper suppliers were offering. Very satisfied.

The worst ever!!!!!!
I had an old Sharp and was happy with it. So when it came time to replace it I bought the same one again. However the machine is not a year old yet and the front panel has melted. It has melted from the inside out. I have called Sharp for service and they have set up service calls that never come!!!!! It has been three weeks since I started with Sharp and I still have not gotten a service person here yet! The worst company ever.

Plate relacement. Can I replace the rotating ceramic plate with glass? Ceramic plate is very hard to keep clean.

What are the dimensions of this Convection oven Width, height and depth

Please note, after 6 months of use. The transformer windings have come loose. The transformer is very loud. Not shorted yet. But will soon. Power output seems to have decreased 9%

I have an enclosed shelf. will this model sit on the shelf/? Or should I get a counter top model?
This model is made to mount on the rear of the microwave using two long bolts from the front bottom to the upper rear attaching to the rear mounting bracket (usually in the slide out of an RV where you cannot use an above top mount to attach to a top shelf with two top mounting bolts. Check your size limitations, you may want a countertop or similar model.

Can I install this model under an upper cabinet, not over a range? I'm looking for a microwave/convection oven that is no deeper than an upper cabinet (~15 inches) and 30 inch wide. Can you please recommend a model?

Hello I've got a 2003 R-1874 now and it stop working. In all this time I've never use the convetion part. That being said I'm looking to just put in a mic in w/out the convection oven. Can you tell me a model # that will fit right in the old hole?

Yes it is perhaps the only microwave with the rear bracket made for RV’s that have angled bolts from front bottom to back upper rear connection to the bracket (RV’s usually do not have the needed top cabinet to bolt into for support
