Very happy with my purchase. Kinda Pricey!! Was worried about drum size, but it's fine. Works great, stays in balance, no playing of flutes, can open anytime I want. It's great, just like the old one I used to have, YEARS AGO.

Speed Queen is a Queen!
This is the best washer I've ever owned (and I've owned a lot over the years).
It never gets off balance. It is fast and does a great job of cleaning the dirtiest farm clothes. I am happy to report that queen size blankets can be washed clean. Dog hair is not an issue anymore. It is a solid machine.

Now This is an Old School Washing Machine
The unit is built extremely well. I was torn between the TR unit and the TC. One reason was the TR is a quiet running machine in comparison. I wanted the option agitating the water as I grew up with, know this will get those tough stains out of my clothes. I am please to admit the noise is not bad at all. I do suggest getting the knobs vs. push button controls. I paid the extra to have the unit delivered and installed. They will make sure it is leveled, balanced well and even will run a quick wash test to be sure. I have to admit the run cycle time is so much shorter that I previous washer.

Absolutely love my speed queen washer! These machines are more energy efficient. My clothes are cleaner because they get washed in a full tub of water and it takes half the time to do a load of laundry.

Does the TC5 adequately spin dry your clothes? Or are they still dripping wet after the spin cycle? Or something else?
Hello! Some cycles have different spin speeds, which is ultimately what leads to more or less water being removed. Lower spin speeds (like on a Delicate cycle) may not extract as much water as cycles with higher spin speeds (like Heavy Duty). But, you can always use the Spin only option to remove more water if preferred.

How does the TC5 handle handle lint from clothes washing? Does it have a lint catcher or is the lint sent out during the rinse cycle? Or something else?
Hi, Robert15! There is not a lint catcher or filter that would need to be cleaned out or checked. With the way our washer's are designed, lint should be drained out easily with the water.

Can you wash queen size comforter?
I gave always sent my queen Size comforter out. I don't think any home washing machine can handle that. Aside from that my speed queen is my favorite washing machine ever. I highly recommend it.
