I bought my current house in 2011, have gone thru 2 washers before this one....both failed right around the time the warranty ended. The old machines didn't really get the clothes clean, and the cycles were very long. This Speed Queen is fast, efficient , and with an agitator it actually CLEANS the clothes....love it!

It is the Best washing machine I have ever owned. It gets my clothes so clean. I like it so much. I even talk to the girls. I work with into putting money together and buying one for our beauty salon.. Our shop towels have never been cleaning!

Best one I’ve had. Had a new Maytag for 8 years and I hated it from day one. I had to call repairman the first time I used it. Called it many names through the years. I had had two other sets of maytags that were good!

Both, the washer and dryer are awesome! Washer has an agitator, yay, and so far no issues with getting off balance on the spin cycle. Dryer dries in one cycle. These are much better than the 4 year old Maytags I just got rid of!

We love our speed, queen, washing machine! We love the sturdy drum inside that doesn’t move around while washing the clothes. We like the size that it was not too big and had a choice of the color, white or black, we chose white. The dials are easy to read, and it comes with many features, especially that it is made in America.

Built to last!
I’ve purchased quite a few of these machines as I owned a coin operated laundry for 42 years. I worked on my own machines. It was so nice when I needed help to be able to call Alliance and speak to an American, English speaking engineer. These machines aren’t disposable machines and can be easily repaired.

I've had the Speed Queen for about a month and wow - what a difference from my 12 year old whirlpool...which I had to babysit through each load as would be of balance. What I actually totally appreciate is the NO LOCK lid!!

Solid Machine
I have had my machine for several months. It does a good job cleaning and the clothes don't get wrapped around the machine. It also doesn't get unbalanced. I like the 30 minute cycle and that it's an old school machine. Although it is quite loud when agitating but behind a door you don't hear it as much.

Does the TC5 adequately spin dry your clothes? Or are they still dripping wet after the spin cycle? Or something else?
Hello! Some cycles have different spin speeds, which is ultimately what leads to more or less water being removed. Lower spin speeds (like on a Delicate cycle) may not extract as much water as cycles with higher spin speeds (like Heavy Duty). But, you can always use the Spin only option to remove more water if preferred.

How does the TC5 handle handle lint from clothes washing? Does it have a lint catcher or is the lint sent out during the rinse cycle? Or something else?
Hi, Robert15! There is not a lint catcher or filter that would need to be cleaned out or checked. With the way our washer's are designed, lint should be drained out easily with the water.

Can you wash queen size comforter?
I gave always sent my queen Size comforter out. I don't think any home washing machine can handle that. Aside from that my speed queen is my favorite washing machine ever. I highly recommend it.
