Great sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We set this up in a guest room and oh my God the sound is absolutely amazing. I love the bass and how amazing it sounds. I love that you can change the various modes as well. Set up was pretty easy but the registration image didn't go well via text. It didn't recognize the code. The movie mode definitely feels like you're in the theatre within the comfort of your own room. I do wish the surround sound speakers were wireless though.

When watching a movie, you feel like you are in a movie theater. Such great quality and sound. I highly recommend. The sound is clear. No crackling. The sound is so clear, that I was watching a movie, and in the movie someone rang the doorbell and I jumped up and opened my door to then realize it was coming through the speaker. This is the best sound bar system I have owned.

You miss so many nuances in a movie without surround sound and now I’m thinking I need to go back and rewatch some amazing shows with the surround sound. The TCL 5.1 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and wired Surround Sound Speakers is really nice! This system is easy to set up, easy to use, and it works well. Once unpacked, all you have to do is setup the wireless subwoofer by connecting each of the surround sound speakers to it and then connecting the power cord. Then connect the sound bar to the TV via the HDMI cord and then plug the power cord into the sound bar. Once both are connected and plugged in you can add batteries to the remote and then turn it on. The subwoofer is wireless and automatically connects to the sound bar, which is super nice. When I turned on the TV while connected to the sound bar, it automatically prompted me to setup the sound bar. This made it effortless to connect it to the TV.
I had zero issues connecting the theater system to my TV. It can also be used with a Bluetooth device to stream music from which I absolutely love! It’s also super easy to find via Bluetooth and connect to it. The remote is straightforward to use as well.
The overall sound quality is really nice! Everything is crisp and you can change the preset modes based on what you’re watching or listening to. There are also multiple options to customize the audio as well. All are super easy to do from the remote.
All in all, this is a really nice home theater system! It’s very easy to hook up and use, and it works extremely well! I am super happy with the quality and how user-friendly it is! I would absolutely recommend it!

Setup is as simple as pluging in the two power cords and the HDMI. The system works perfectly with my TVs remote and powers on and off with the TV. The settings available with the system make fine tuning easy and the different preset modes switch quickly.

I like the different sizes; you can create your own little home theater. None of the speakers are too big or bulky. The sound quality is good and very clear. I use this in our living room where the TV is mounted on the wall and the sofa is kind of farther away. It lets us hear the audio much better, rather than just turning the TV up louder.

It’s funny how you forget how much effect the two little back speakers add to the experience. The sound quality is great everything is very clear. All the speakers have a metal covering instead of fabric which is awesome for cleaning. I like the rounded edges versus the the normal squared off design. It was very easy to install and set up everything. The only thing that would make better is if the little speakers were wireless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now me and my whole family enjoy the real time by watching tv with the best sound delivered by TLC. The clarity of the center speaker and all the features are well made. It fills my living room and surrounds me with music
The speakers are smaller but the quality is bigger.This was fairly easy to set up.
For best results make sure your TV has one of its HDMI ports labeled "ARC" aka Audio Return Channel, and use that one. Then you can just plug your other stuff (DVD player, amazon fire stick, etc) into your TV's other HDMI ports and the high quality digital sound will flow back down to the soundbar over that ARC port.

It handles it all seamlessly. The wireless subwoofer works great, no delays, no issues. The sound bar is very easy to wall mount too. I would highly recommend it.

It has a very powerful wireless subwoofer that provides a rich, deep bass that brings your favorite movies to life! The Dolby Audio provides studio-level tuning for a fully immersive experience. You can also stream all your favorite music wirelessly via your Bluetooth device, I loved how this sound system was Roku TV Ready which had a quick and simple setup, quick access to sound setting, and comparability with your Roku remote. I had this thing set up in less than ten minutes with a hassle-free setup with an HDMI and ARC port. It also came with a wall mount, power cable and quick start guide. I was blown away by the cinema quality surround sound when I watched Maverick and shook the foundation of my living room with earth shattering bass and surround sound. I couldn't be happier with this product!

Exceptional Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a home theater system since moving into our new house nearly two years ago. I have done a lot of research into brands, types, quality, etc. and always had a difficult time choosing what would be best for us, our specific room needs, and family needs. I have to say that TCL S-Series 5.1 Channel Home Theater System is exactly what I had been looking for. The TLC Theater System comes with a low-profile sound bar, two wired side speakers and a sub-woofer. Connecting the system to my TV and initial set-up was really easy. Once it was connected and the speakers placed throughout the room, it did take some slight tweaking to get the speakers positioned for the best sound for our room. The great thing about this system is that it can be wall mounted, or the speakers can be placed around the room without permanent installation. We chose to place the speakers around our room, and when we are absolutely sure we are receiving the best quality sound for our specific room, then we can mount them permanently. This surround sound system is top quality and the surround sound is amazing! You can close your eyes and it sounds like you are right in the middle of all the action. Excellent system choice and highly recommended for ease of installation, sound quality and quality of manufacture.

Like most modern TVs, my TVs sound quality wasn't great. I can't stress enough how much better this sound system has made my home entertainment experience. I didn't know what I was missing. I no longer have to have the television volume turned all the way up to hear. No more dealing with muddled speech on my favorite movies, and television shows! I no longer need my closed captions on! The sound bar with DTS Virtual: X, Built-in Center Channel Speaker, alone is great, combined with the Surround Sound Speakers and Wireless Subwoofer, it's truly an excellent, immersive experience. Amazing sound clarity, warmth, and quality. I feel like I'm at a private concert when I stream my favorite music over Bluetooth. Setup with my TCL Roku smart TV was easy. Just make sure to plug the connection into the designated HDMI port. The only flaw I've found is, the sound bar blocks my remote signal to my TV. The included IR passthrough cable didn't work for me. It was an easy fix though, I just pulled the sound bar away from the TV an inch so my remote worked. I highly recommend this sound system!

Nice Sound and Easy Setup!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TCL S-Series 5.1 Channel Home Theater Sound Bar is an easy to setup and nice sounding system with plenty of customization options. Upon unpacking the system, the soundbar, subwoofer and speakers have a nice look to them as well as a good quality build. The quick start guide is easy to follow with all of your inputs and options clearly labeled. The wireless subwoofer pairing is simple and if you have an HDMI (ARC/eARC) interface you will be up and running in no time.
Once you are setup, this is where it will take you the most time to customize your TCL 5.1 system. I would recommend reviewing the different sound modes for each viewing experience (Movie, Music, Sports), etc. and notating adjustments. The quick start guide details what button presses are required to make changes. The system sounds really good out of the box with minimal changes. However, after tuning for the different scenarios to my liking, it can kick out really clear and nice sounding surround audio with plenty of bass. The system supports Dolby Audio out of the box. For Movies, the DTS Virtual:X and DTS:TruVolume are nice feature options that takes the experience to another level. The TruVolume option does seem to help regulate the volume levels while the Virtual:X option enhances the surround quality. Also, the system offers a Bluetooth mode for easy pairing with devices for streaming music.
A couple things to note, during setup, I ran into some wireless interference with the TCL 5.1 system and my wireless mesh system. I was able to adjust channels on the mesh system to get around this. Also, it would be helpful if the DTS features were summarized in the quick start guide.
Overall, this is a nice sounding 5.1 channel soundbar, subwoofer, and wired surround sound speaker option.

Nice quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TCL 5.1 sound bar is a really nice quality. It was easy to set up and.not overly complicated. The wireless is a very nice feature with the rear speakers. Only downside is it was not able to pair with a multi function remote…in my case it was Dish. I spoke with a very pleasant customer service representative that said this particular model is not able to do that. However, I am using this in our office and the quality is awesome! The wireless subwoofer and rear speakers are excellent and convenient…an excellent choice for a secondary space.

The sound bar system came with a wireless subwoofer and two wired satellite speakers, that provides an awesome surround sound experience. The subwoofer provides OK bass, but I am happy with the overall sound quality. It also came with hardware / template to wall mount the sound bar. The sound system was quick to hookup. It came with a remote for easy controlling & fine audio tuning. It has Bluetooth connectivity feature that allow simple music streaming from your phone.

Sound bars just keep getting better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always surprised how well sound bars do now, because they sucked when they first came out. The default setting this comes in as has too much bass for normal use. It maybe fine for listening to music though. However, they have different sound modes that helps with that as well as being able to tweek it yourself. Sound modes like, movie, video game, music, etc. Very easy to install and use. Though speakers are usually all that difficult in the first place.

Great system!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy set up, I like how small the subwoofer is to be honest. Alot of the subwoofers out there are massive but this one is nice and compact and still powerful. I hooked the sounder up to the TV then plugged the surround sound speakers into the subwoofer then the subwoofer into the wall and it was all connected. And it sounds amazing, I sometimes forget we now have surround sound and get freaked out hearing something behind me while sitting on the couch!
I only have two minor complaints, one is that it doesnt come with mounting hardware for the surround sound. That's annoying, but I wouldn't have knocked a star off just for that. However, the remote is super basic and you can only control the soundbar with it, and even then it doesnt tell you on the soundbar what's what. You have to memorize the guide to know what each color means. My old soundbar I could turn the TV on and off with the remote and change inputs so it was kind of disappointing to see I couldn't even turn the TV on with this one.
Overall... I would recommend. My complaints are super minor and won't stop me from using it. I just felt that I needed to share in case someone out there would be bothered by that.
