Great Investment
I used the inverter during a recent camping trip. I cooked wood fired pizza on the trip; it was a hit! The inverter saved me time and money because we bought take and bake pizza for the camping trip cutting our grocery costs.

Great product
I used while I was camping. I smoked ribs and it was on my battery for 6 hours. I never had a problem with it. The power inverter worked great.

In simple terms...
So I bought this about a little over a month ago, took about a week for delivery. The power cord for the grills are so short you usually need a extension cord. When it rains, it makes me a little paranoid to have a cord draped across the deck. I can have a manual offset cooking in the rain no worries. So I bought this inverter. And it doesn't really explain how to use it. Can I hook this think up to a car battery, can the car be running, or does it have to be a 12Vdc battery like for a golf cart or moped? Those to me don't seem like they would have enough life to do a 6 hour cook for a weekend away.
