Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality microwave I bought it before the pandemic at PC Richard to replace a similar model that broke after 7 years. I bought Viking to match the rest of my appliances. I only used this microwave for a few months before I left town for 2 years. I came back a few months ago and started to notice occasional a very loud (gunshot like) popping sound soon after I pressed start. It sounds electrical. I purchased an insurance but the repairman couldn’t replicate the incident. The popping sound still continues occasionally.
