Just in Time...
Received our unit just before New Orleans experienced a 100 year 12" snow and 72 hours of freezing weather. Our new unit was put to work very quickly to supplement our central heating system and has kept us very comfortable these past few days... This unit replaced previous Vornado purchased 7 years ago.

Impressive little heater
Bought this to take the chill out of the bathroom on the chilly winter days. Especially nice to have a warmer room to shower in. So far the temps haven't dropped to FREEZING but the heater is making the bathroom warm. Will review later in March after winter has HIT.

Great service
I bought this unit to keep the baby’s nursery at a steady 70 over night it’s the only unit I trusted with a quality thermostat to turn its self on and off. Two years down the line it started making a funny noise and they replaced it no questions asked. Great service we’ll be customers for years to come.

Climate control is better
I’ve read so many reviews on this I was afraid to buy one. I ended up getting one on a deal so I wanted to let others know vornado must have updated the climate feature. All the reviews I’ve read complained about it turning off and on every minute or 2. Well here’s how mine works, it will run on high until the temperature is reached then the fan/heat slow down, I assume it’s going to low heat at that time. It continues to run until it reaches about 3 to 4 degrees above the set temperature which in my case never happens until the furnace runs a cycle or the sun comes out and warms the room.
Basically in my case it’s keeping the room right at the set temp by getting there on high then self adjusting to low to keep the temp stable, if the temp drops below set temp it will go back to high heat. I think it’s awesome being you have a steady set temp at all times. So it never really shuts off until the room is warmed up by the furnace in my case being I have mine in a large living room/kitchen. It will achieve the set temp very quickly in my case and I’m in a 400 plus square ft area with open hallways at each end. If you were in a bedroom it would probably get to 4 degrees above your set temp then shut down I assume. I hope this helps anyone on the fence with climate control. I absolutely love it.

Great little heater
I am Surprised at how well this little heater works. The thermostat works great at keeping the room at a set temperature. I also like the timer feature. My favorite part is that it doesn’t have hot coils like other space heaters. It simply blows warm air across the room lowering the whole room temperature not just where the heater is positioned.

Voenado Velocity 5 White Fan!
Great product! So surprised to see how small it actually was when i opened the box and plugged it in. Cool digital UI toggle buttons. Combination of air vent and heat distri ution makes it a unique product. Please make more really cool designs and cool tech fans/heaters in the future. Will keep buying!!!

Heats Up Large 1-Car Garage Well
When I received it and saw how small it was, I was skeptical that it would heat up my pretty large 1-car garage, and disappointed because I wasn’t sure if it was worth the price. Any criticisms I had of it were erased near immediately when I used it for the first time. Now, nearly 2 months later, it works just as well as when I first got it. It is excellent at heating up an entire room quickly and thoroughly (there are never cold spots despite the poor insulation of my garage) and/or maintaining a specific temperature. The thermometer gauge is also extremely accurate and the touch screen works perfect. This review was NOT sponsored in any way, though I wish it was, lol.

EASY LEARNIG CURVE!
This unit has nice automatic on / off features and quiet, even when it's set on High. Heats a 10 by 12 room quickly and consistently. We have another earlier model which has been performing well for almost 5 years (the length of the warranty.) So far, no issues with that one.

Don’t let the side fool you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This space heater is good for warming a small room. It is not a typical space heater that warms you up if you sit close by. This seems to raise the temperature of the room you are in and at a rather quick rate. I have used this in my garage and kitchen, on cold mornings. While in my garage it quickly warmed from 64 degrees to 71 degrees within 30 minutes.I love the safety feature that it turns off if it gets knocked over. The touch screen gives the heater a very sleek look. A++

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this heater for quite some time now in my kitchen. This small heater takes up minimal space and work surprisingly well. This is the perfect space heater for small spaces or even working in conjunction with other heat sources.
You can adjust the setting to be very warm or just enough or anywhere in between.
The heater also ha a safety feature if someone picks it up or it falls, making it automatically turn of if that happens. It is pretty quiet and doesn't disturb the surroundings and it is light weight, making it easy to transport anywhere.
I have been loving this space heater and I highly recommend it.

Good heater!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a decent sized space heater. Maybe about the height and width of a spiral notebook of paper. It has a touch screen for the settings menu. It has a somewhat loud fan but I'm assuming that it helps blow the heat farther. It definitely does help warm the room. Also when you turn it off, it counts down from 15 cooling down as well. It has a red light to show that it's on also. If it gets picked up at all it turns off. I'm sure knocked over also but luckily it hasn't been knocked over. The outside doesn't get hot to the touch either which is good . All in all, I think it's a good heater.

Little heater with a lot of heat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the Vornado Velocity 5 heater just in time for our first cool snap in South Texas. It rarely gets cold enough in Houston to justify turning on the central heat, but the ceiling heater that came with our bathroom vent system does not do enough to knock the chill out of the bathroom first thing in the morning. The Vornado whole room heater lives up to its name and heats our bathroom to a comfortable temperature in under ten minutes. It is a great size to move from room to room and is very light. A nice feature is the cool down it does for twenty seconds when you turn it off so you can put it away without worry as soon as it is off. I also like that the case never gets hot so no worries about bumping into it as you walk past. Other good features are the nighttime mode where the control panel lights are turned off and the control locking mode. I highly recommend Velocity 5 whole room heater!

Great heater

I am always cold but hate going to the thermostat to lower and raise the temperature. I have this sitting beside my chair in the living room and have turned it on several evenings when I’ve been chilled. It warms up fast and has the option of heating settings. My husband who sits across the living room from me told me he could even feel the warm air from where he was at. It definitely heats up a Area or you can just have the fan set as well. Great idea and would definitely recommend and the pricing is right.

Great for small spaces
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this heater for our bedroom, it's a small room and it does great. I set it for 75 and it heats the room up within 45 minuets. The night mode is great it turns the LCD screen off when it senses you've turned off the light. It is a bit loud so if your sensitive to noise while sleeping it might bother some people. I personally like it it's like a white noise. Definitely reccomend if you have kids the sides do not get hot and the tip over sensor is very sensitive just the slightest bump will cause it to turn off which means if it gets flipped over it will definitely shut off.

Great Heater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater it very user friendly and definitely put off some heat. Has auto climate meaning you set a temperature and it runs until it hits that temperature then turns off and if it drops below that temperature it'll turn back on. It has a 20 second cool down once you turn it off. I would recommend you let it run for a couple hours to let it burn off the plastic smell because it definitely smells. Other than that it's a great Heater.

Small But Mighty Dragon
I have been using two of these for little over a month now, and have found them really effective in heating up and maintaining the temperature of medium sized bedrooms. I love the features, esp. Auto Climate so that I can have the temperature just right, not too toasty, not too cold - this was a must for me. Just one drawback (or rather an expected behavior), it heats the room to 4 degree Fahrenheit more than the set temperature, then cuts off, and then starts back on when the temperature comes down to 3 degree above the set temperature.

The last space heater I had (it died last week) was from the 1970s. I am happy to pay more for a heater that lasts! I hope this 5 year warranty is an indication of vornado's longevity. Initial impression is good. Nice that it throttles back the heat and fan as the setpoint is reached. Once the room is warm, it can idle along like that and barely make any noise.

Works wonderfully!!!
I bought this a few weeks back for my child’s room.
It’s far better than any other portable heater and the safety features are great!
The only bad thing I can report is the plastic material it’s made out of emitted a very pungent chemical smell for awhile.
It really bothered me but it’s seems to have gotten better or maybe I’m just used to the smell.
I know some plastics contain carcinogens and your manufacturing should be considerate about warning people about olfactory triggering fumes.
Otherwise, great little heater!!!

Fantastic heater. Love the thermostat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater was a great upgrade from the heater I had without a thermostat. I have it under my desk and it regulates the temperature great. I used it in the garage for the first few days because there was a smell. I was concerned there may have been a piece of styrofoam or plastic on the heater but wasn't able to locate one. Took about 24 hours of run time outside over three days to be able to use the product inside where I didn't smell anything.
