If the quality level is equal to my former grill (which I expect it is), this grill should last for years. For us, the 300 series provides ample cooking surface for our needs.

I would think I would need a smaller grill, being only myself and usually one more. However, I usually grill meat on one side and veggies on the other, so I take up the entire grill space. In hindsight, I would have been unhappy with the smaller grill.

The Genesis is worlds apart from anything I've purchased and well worth the price. The design, quick heating, easy cleanup, little flareup are all huge plusses. I thought I would miss my side burner but I just put my cast iron skillet over one of the burners and it fried my potatoes perfectly with no kitchen splatter to worry about. I'm thrilled...and my wife paid for it!
