It’s steel base rusting away, so I decided it is due for replacement. It went together easily. I will test it shortly. The built in temperature probes are a huge bonus.

The grill does very well, delivers even temperature and allows me to regulate based on how much I'm cooking. So one to three sections based on cooking quantity really helps me. . Cleans up easily and is built solid. This is my third -I still have a kettle and traveler for the vacation trips.

Grill gets VERY hot quick and cooks pretty darn equally with very minimal flare ups. It’s HOT but controlled. The digital aspect is a nicety but not overtly useful in my case, but may be for others. Although I have yet to cook a bigger items that would necessitate the thermostat and digital display / app. Although it’s nice to see the temp of the grill on my phone and get a notification when it’s reached the desired temp. Bonuses like tank fullness levels are nice if not particularity accurate as it uses weight to judge. But it gets pretty close. Ultimately the real test will be the test o time.. illl report back in a few years.

From a small portable briquette cooker to this right sized full of features grill I am a happy owner. It was a little more time consuming to build than I hoped but the instructions were pretty good. The smart technology of setting a temperature and timer with a meat or fish probe and following progress on my phone through the app was a pleasure to experience.

Both cook the same with even heat while cooking and well built. I use the WiFi while cooking on both of them which is a nice feature. Assembly is very easy but takes time to assemble with easy instructions. Would highly recommend the Spirit SX-315 Smart Grill

Like the convenience still use the kettle grill too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great BBQ! Gotta love Weber quality! My second Weber. First one lasted over 25 years. That's why I was determined that the new one would be a Weber again. I love the digital wireless technology, it makes getting the temps I want a breeze. For some reason ( maybe better design / components), it seems less affected by low temperatures than the "other" BBQ that I just tossed out ( it came with the house). It wouldn't get hot when it was 0C, or below. The Spirit doesn't seem to care if it's cold or not, it gets hot, and gets hot quickly. So, I'm looking forward to BBQing all year long! It was nice to get access to all the resources ( tips , recopies, etc.). Hope to get twenty plus years out of this one!
