Having had over a decade of experience with the combo. Many people will say, "it doesn't dry" or "it takes too long to dry" I say to them, be patient and sometimes, all your clothes need is a good shake when you take them out, and the steam will come right off that makes your garments feel wet. My clothes come out fresh and dry.

Amazing washer dryer combo
This washer dryer combo has saved my life. It is very useful and cleans the clothes very well. In order to dry clothes just make sure to take some clothes out. It will not fully dry a full load but it works its magic with the clothes you dry. It does leave dust bunnies but just make sure youre cleaning the machine weekly and you wont see much of that. Also after every drying use just clean it up so it doesnt buildup.. my favorite purchase this year!

When I tried to start it, it wouldn't go to the selected option of wash & dry or dry only, It washed on only one button but couldn't get it to dry at all; therefore, taking me to the laundromat. I wasn't happy. On the day the Whirlpool tech came, the buttons worked, of course. He was here and troubleshooted everything and found nothing really populated on his diagnostic machine. Ran it through cycles and it worked. As he was leaving, and powered it up, it didn't come up right away. I asked him if he would note that so they can see it did it again briefly and that I wasn't making it up. I love the whole concept of this machine and it solves my space problem, but I am cautiously optimistic and pray it continues cause I need it!

Just what I needed ... !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item about a month ago and, once I understood how it operates, I have come to enjoy its usefulness. A lot of folks have complained about the drying cycle ... that clothes are a bit damp when taken out of the machine. Yep, check that comment but it doesn't bother me. The washer runs on a 110W plug, so the heating capability is a little suppressed. Most dryers require a 220W hook up. My expectations have come to align with the capacity of the machine. If items seem a bit damp, I hang them on door corners or hangers overnight and they dry just fine.
The "lint" that shows up after each wash along and within the door gasket is easily cleaned using a baby wipe. Cleaning the lint trap at the bottom of the machine each week is also no big hassle, and I am almost 70 years old. I live very rural in an old house that was built in 1870. I have not owned a dryer for 30+ years, and usually hung my laundry outside on the clothes line ... even in winter. I was hesitant about drilling a vent hole to accommodate a dryer. This machine did not require any construction or electrical impacts to the original home. So ... I am pleased with this machine!

It takes up so much less space as it is a combo.
It uses a 110 outlet so I didn’t have to get an electrician to install additional wiring. It is also vent free.

My wife and I were skeptical at first on buying a combo washer and dryer because of reviews talking about long drying time.
From our research I can tell you most bad experiences we read about were user error and not the fault of Whirlpool or the appliance quality.
The first thing we washed was a queen size comforter, and it’s poofy. It far exceeded the maximum fill line, and it was completely dry in just under 4 hours (bulky/heavy duty settings).
We love this appliance.

Great new way to do laundry
We are a family of 4 and needed a solution to free up our weekends from hours of laundry. When our washer went Kaput our neighbor recommended we try this machine. You will love this machine by maximizing it benefits and that means improving the old fashioned laundry procedure No more Saturday laundry day staying home waiting to change loads from washer to dryer. We load a wash/dry before we leave for work and return home to a clean dry load fresh due to the stay fresh option. Load a wash/dry before going to bed and wake up to clean dry clothes. Have a day full of chores and soccer games to attend.. no problem load a go and come hope to yep you got it clean dry clothes. Clothes come clean and dry every time. We have noticed a savings in electric cost by avoiding using our 220 volt electric dryer. Machine is super quiet and large. Just be sure not to over fill it if you want good drying results. Totally recommend this product
