The 2 in 1 Removable Agitator lets you choose how you wash and care for your clothes by easily swapping the agitator post in or out. With two ways to wash, it's twice the washer you have at home.

Soaking Cycles
Soak and wash in one cycle. Skip a trip to the laundry room with Soaking Cycles that start washing whites and colors as soon as they're done soaking.

Soil Level Selection

Quick Wash Cycle

Whites Cycle
Cleans loads of soiled white fabrics with the addition of bleach. An additional rinse helps to remove any remaining chlorine residue. Uses hot temperatures, fast tumbling, longer wash times and an extra-high spin speed for optimal cleaning.

Bulky/Sheets Cycle
The Bulky/Sheets Cycle takes care of bedding as well as those bulky winter jackets. The washer fills with enough water to wet down the load before the wash cycle begins, then uses a higher water level than other cycles.

Clean Washer with affresh Cycle
Run the Clean Washer with affresh Cycle every 30 washes with an affresh washing machine cleaner tablet or liquid chlorine bleach to thoroughly clean the inside of your washer.

We have a 30 year old Kenmore (manufactured by Whirlpool) that works as good as the day it was purchased. No electronics, solid, fast, and hasn't failed in over 30 years. The new WTW4957PW looks nearly as simple with limited unnecessary electronics. We though we'd give it a try. It's been a couple weeks, and so far it's great! The first thing that was a nice surprise is how quiet it is. Our laundry room is on a second floor, and the old washer made sure you knew it was running. The WTW4957PW is completely silent. The second thing is the WTW4957PW has wash cycles as fast as our old Kenmore. None of the waiting an hour or more to do a simple load like some many over the top with bells and whistle washers do these days. The WTW4957PW is simple, efficient', fast, and just does laundry. So far, we like it!
