Nice Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator delivered just under a month ago. So far it has been flawless. Quiet, keeps the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer as it should. It is the twin of a Whirlpool (well, almost - old one was a white Whirlpool Gold; this one is black stainless just Whirlpool) we bought 15-ish years ago. Even the door and glass shelves from the old one fit. That one, too, was flawless until it wasn't. Had the service guy out multiple times starting in the second/third year for the same problem until Whirlpool finally made a design change and sent him a new design replacement part. Let's hope that design has persisted and no other failures have been introduced over the intervening years. With that fix, it served us well for ~10 years with no problems until a board failed. So, spend almost half the price of a new one on a repair or buy a new one. Opted for a new one. One month in, it is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our bottom freezer Amana of 20 years finally gave out, parts to fix would have cost as much as a new fridge. All the new refrigerators have entirely different proportions, mostly narrower and deeper. Fortunately, this model fit the prescribed cabinet space the best, and we're very pleased with it. Super quiet, holds the temp well, and I'm now used to the pull-out freezer drawer instead of a hinged door (hubby still prefers the latter). I thought the shelving with rounded corners would be a problem, but most things kept in the door are round jars or ketchup and mustard with rounded edges, so it all works out fine.

Loved everything but the lower shelf options

It replaced a Kenmore refrigerator that if had for 23 years and is very similar in design so it's been an easy transition. That except for the lower shelf positioning. The brackets fto attach the shelf don't allow the shelf to be placed in the lower 2 slots because the bracket doesn't go low enough to support the bottom connection point of the shelf bracket. Should be an easy design change

Love my new Whirlpool 22 cubic foot bottom freezer

As a result, I had to purchase a new refrigerator and chose the Whirlpool 22 cubic foot bottom freezer model that was similar to my old Amana.
